It has potential but...

I' am hoping all the lagging and freezing is due to windows 10 (in all aspects the worst operating system known to man), and not the hardware which is not impressive, albeit I' am not impressed with most, if not all laptops on the market. First, there isn't much about this laptop that delineates it from other manufacturers, it's just average. The design is what caught my eye. Everything about this laptop is okay, except the battery life. It's horrific, which is why I' am going to return it. The battery life is a complete joke. For Samsung to manufacture a laptop with such poor battery life is unacceptable. I get 2-3 hours max, with minimal tasks. This defeats the purpose of making it light, and compact. If I wanted to remain plugged in to an outlet I would have simply bought a desktop. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact a laptop from the year 2015 performs so poorly. I will be more than happy to purchase the next generation of this laptop, if Samsung decides to put a larger battery in it. Also, another major problem. The touch screen, it's horrible, however, that may be due to a software issue. The color is not so great either. One last note, don't drop it, it's not exactly the most durable laptop.

The worst laptop i have ever wasted my money on, 6 months after buying it the laptop fans started to make sound all the time , and the screen hinges became really loose.
wont recommend this to anyone. !!!! waste of money .

Great Laptop for back to school.

I recently went back to school after 20 years and decided I needed to get a laptop that would fit my everyday needs with work as well as school. I read a lot of great reviews on this product and I am happy to say they were 100% right. This product is amazing, it works great with my work needs (Work for a busy police Department) as well as my school needs. The touch screen is great, the keys light up perfectly and the mouse touch pad has got to be one of the smoothest things I have ever felt. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in getting a 2 in 1 tablet/computer. Thank you Samsung for making another great product.

It delivers excellent performance, low power consumption, long battery life and run time. Without a doubt, this 13.3-Inch Samsung ATIV Book 9 NP940X3L-K01US model is a truly outstanding portable computer. A considerable degree of design and engineering expertise was required to create such an incredibly thin and light notebook computer, that is still so well-equipped and capable, despite its super-slim construction.
