Food Sticks

I'm not real happy with this grill. I got it as a birthday present. It worked great the first two times I used it then the food began to stick to the top tray and the issue is only getting worse. I don't scrub the trays but I have put them in the dishwasher. The instructions say dishwasher safe. I'm trying to see if the trays will rejuvenate by using oil, cooking spray, etc. but no luck. I've almost thrown it out a couple of times but if it would work it would be great. If new plates aren't expensive I'll give it another shot, otherwise this thing is destined for the landfill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

grills ok but VERY hard to clean

I've had the grill for about a year now. At first I loved it. The honeymoon was over after only a month. The grey ceramic coating is a complete failure. I followed the manufacturer's instructions to the letter. No cooking spray, no abrasives, use vegetable oil, etc. Everything sticks so badly that it has to be forced open and the food is ripped to pieces. Cleaning the cooked-on stuck pieces is a real chore even after soaking in water overnight. There seems to be no option for replacement grill plates with a real no-stick surface.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't think it tilts forward to drain grease. It hasn't for me. That I do NOT like. You need a degree to run it. Can't find the instruction book anymore. I don't like this!

Stopped working after 3 times

We just got this a week ago, plugged it in today and it doesn't turn on. Checked everything, but the unit appears dead. We will be returning this tomorrow.

Awful taste

We received one of these grills for Christmas and we're really excited to have not only the grill, but multiple plates to use. But no matter what plate we use and how much cleaning we do prior to using it, everything comes out tasting awful, kind of like feet. Steaks, waffles, you name it, it tastes terrible. We were so excited to have this and now it's just taking up space in our already crowded tiny apartment kitchen.

Needs room in the rear for a drip tray.

As said above, grease drips in the back while using the deep dish for chicken in the level position. When the meat is high grease drips in the back and I had a mess afterwards. Next time will cook on a piece of cardboard so I can throw it away as it will be soaked with grease.
