I bought a evolve and I am so disappointed.

Bought in May and hasn't worked for over a month. I have owned 4 before I bought the evolve but I am very disappointed in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smoking from cord that connects top to bottom

I had received a George Foreman 3-in-1 Evolve unit for Christmas and just went to use it last week and there was bluish smoke coming from the cable that attaches the top plate to the bottom plate. Figuring this was a fluke so I went and purchased a different one (same model) and just plugged it In and whala same issue

Loved this when I first purchased it, but now the bottom plate does heat up properly and food sticks to the top plate. Use the grill only on average 2-3 times a month. Missed my old grill

Non stick plates

Pates are supposed to be non stick however since first day any type of meat would end up stuck to the upper plate. This was most bothersome when doing say hamburgers as would have to use plastic tools to pry off which results in a hamburger in multiple pieces. And as I follow the cleaning instructions, never use an abrasive material nor do I spray with any type of non stick material. Unless there is a solution I will be putting this thing in garbage

I own an older George Foreman grill that I have used for years and love it. recently bought this Evolve Grill as a upgrade, but when we plugged it in it began to smoke heavily. I thought may be it was just the plates, so I unplugged it and took the plates off. Then I saw that it was coming from inside the grill. I don't think I can trust this grill not to catch fire.

Turned into a Disaster...Literally

I loved this grill when I first got it for Christmas. We have used it once a week, sometimes twice. Following all the instructions to keep it clean and store it correctly. Then the other day when using it my daughter said that she smelled something burning. It was coming from the unit, the counter top was all marked up from it. And the unit itself was super hot even the cord. It went directly outside. It could have burnt down my house!!! I never had this issue with my old Foreman.

Great grill, poor quality

We received a George Foreman evolve grill system as a gift and the red coating that is on it actually melts from the temperature. It's stained the counter and such. Overall it's a great usable product but the painted surface is not reliable.

We have used our new grill almost every day since we got it. It's good for anything! My husband does most of the cooking, which is great for me. He also loves the grill...we're so glad we got it!?
I would recommend this to a friend!
