Best Printer so far

I ran my last EPSON printer to the ground.
I liked it! But it died (7 years of moderate use)
It always worked, gave good printing and was very easy on ink costs.
My new WF 4630 seems to be all of the above but has many more desirable features. I have two desktops and one laptop. This printer is connected to one DT via the USB cable (no Wi-Fi). The other two are connected via Wi-Fi. Everything was easy to set up and works very well. Very happy with the printer.

Decent printer

The quality is great on the print jobs and the ink cartridges are pretty high yield. The only draw back I see so far is the scanner resolution. It's an all-in-one and the printer side of it is great, but I've seen better scanners on printers that are a fraction of the cost of this one.

I READ SOME REVIEWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEY HAD WITH SET UP. AT FIRST I WAS NOT SURE BUT I WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT THE PRINTER. THE SET UP WAS VERY EASY AND FAST. SORRY THE OTHERS HAD TROUBLE - NOT SURE WHY.

This printer was a breeze to set-up and everything went without a hitch. Print quality is so much better than my old HP. I hope to have this printer for years to come.

A work horse--and a real winner!

I occasionally work at home as an editor, and while my work is digital, I often need to see documents as they will print. My last printer died just like that, and I got a message to contact [unnamed mfr.]. I didn't have time to fool around with that, read a few reviews, and realized the 4630 would be a nice upgrade. I couldn't be more pleased!
The print quality is superb--crisp B&W, true, sharp color. My printing for work is all on plain paper, but I make my own greeting cards, and I can tell the quality on photo paper will be even better. I've used the copier and scan functions to check them out, and they work fine. I don't have a jack for the fax, but I don't use that anyway.
I like that this model holds several times the paper that my last printer did. And the 35-sheet feeder for scanning will come in very handy for my work.
The printing is super-fast, although some color PDFs slow it down a little. But I think those are large files, and we're talking a few seconds, nothing like my last printer, where I could have gone out for coffee while a PDF printed. I get black and white normal quality in a jiffy, draft quality much faster, of course.
The setup was a breeze, serving both a PC and Mac through wi-fi. I can't wait to set up connectivity with my smartphone.

3,000 sheets later, has NEVER jammed

We've used this printer for copying and printing in both color and black and white, single sided and duplex. We could not be happier with this printer. The other day I realized I have no idea how to open up the printer to remove a paper jam because it has NEVER jammed.
We've printed about 3000 sheets of paper and have only had to replace the black ink once. This is impressive to us because many of the 3000 sheets of paper have been duplex.
Also, this printer is very fast, and prints very good quality color pictures. It's not top level photo quality color pictures, but obviously this printer is not purpose built for photos.
The only issue with printing I've found is that there is often very slight offsetting of a portion of the print. Like sometimes the print doesn't QUITE line up down the page. You don't notice it until you really pull the paper up to your face and inspect it so we're fine with that one shortfall.
I seriously endorse this product. This printer works and works very well.

Third Epson Printer

I've been a fan of Epson for years, but installing on Mac product is something less than desired. I too, like another reviewer, had to install and reinstall three to four times before I could print or scan. The scanner setup was definitely a hassle and I am very comfortable with technology. I give it a low rating, because it required too much work to setup on Mac related products. If Epson can conquer this challenge, I'd see giving it much higher rating.
