Died 1 year after purchase

This printer was always problematic to get it to print over Wi-Fi. It now has completely died almost exactly 1 year to the day after purchase. In the middle of a print job, it started spitting out paper like it had lost its mind and then simply shut off. It now cannot be turned on at all. Kind of a waste of money, since all the troubleshooting advice presumes you can turn on the printer. The shame too is that I have expensive print cartridges half-used. I won't be buying another Epson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good solid printer complicated controls

Got this one about a month ago as an in warranty replacement for my first one. Customer service and delivery was truly exceptional. My first one must have had an error problem all along and that was very frustrating. New one works very well. The controls for changing paper size, tray feeds etc are quite complicated. My use is a personal home computer so don't frequently make changes enough to keep up remembering them. A better operating manual would be a big help,

Easy-to-use, set-up, fast!

Prints a lot faster and quieter than my old one (Epson CX-58000F). 2-sided printing, copying and scanning via the feeder tray. So far, the ONE (1) feature that I really miss on this model: NO borderless photo printing.

I had a WorkForce printer at work and it was a workhorse and was excellent in performance. When I retired I decided to get a new home printer and Epson WF was my first choice. Glad I have it.

Great Machine

Bought this printer based on Consumer Report recommendation. Happy that I did. The machine was incredibly easy to connect to our home network. Three significant users were all working on projects at the same time. One included scanning of a significant number of photos, one dealt with banners and posters for an upcoming birthday party and one consisted of a considerable amount of printing. The machine handled everything, with zero complaints from any of us.
