Great Start but not problem free

I've been using my Epson WF 4630 for a few years then all of a sudden it stop printing. I've tried uninstalling and resinstalling and now I'm just lost as to what to do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased the WorkForce Pro WF-4630 about two years ago and we are completely satisfied with its performance and reliability. Fax, print, copy, and scan have all worked flawlessly. The print quality black and white or color is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great design

I bought this printer 2+ years ago. Aside from being somewhat thirsty (and the cartridges coming (even the hi-cap) with very little ink inside, it has functioned FLAWLESSLY. Until yesterday, that is, when it started making weird noises and throwing "error 98" codes. I am hopeful that this re-bop of the software and drivers will cure it's ill.
It is a shame these have been "downgraded". That was an arbitrary and ill-considered choice (really, we do NOT all have to act like the President). I have had 5 or 6 Epson ink-jet printers and this was the very best of them, so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible at printing graphics

Prints all text and colors fine, except on images, which are streaky with horizontal bands, even after all troubleshooting (nozzle/cleaning/alighment/cartridge replacements). Horizontal streaks do not happen on text pages.

Should let user set ink warning level.

We are happy with our Epson 4630 printer except for one thing. We used to operate a small business, but we now use it as a home printer, and make relatively few prints/copies. The low ink warning is just about always on for one cartridge or another. This last time I wrote down the date the light first came on for the cyan cartridge, and it was just over SIX MONTHS before that cartridge actually ran out of ink! Is there any way for the user to set the "emptiness level" at which the warning comes on, and if not, why not? I'm so tired of that orange blinker and of seeing an on-screen warning every single time I print!

Best Ink Cartridges Ever!

I love this product. It is indeed a "Work Force"! I am amazed at the capacity of the ink cartridges and the ease of use and reliability. I have been purchasing printers since the dot matrix days and I must say, for the first time ever I haven't felt like the company sold the product simply to rip me off in the long run on ink cartridges. If there is anything I would change it would be the Epson scanning application as adding pages to a scan is not an easy thing to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!
