This one has been a disappointment to me

After using HP printers for years, I purchased this printer due to reading rave reviews about this product. I have been so disappointed in this Epson. From difficulty with getting it set-up (never had such trouble with any of my previous printers!) to issues with it constantly jamming or pulling multiple pieces of paper (or checks) through at once. I've only had it for a few weeks and am already considering buying a replacement for it. I'll be returning to HP.

Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630

Our Company purchased 4 Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630, of the 4 purchased 3 have had to be replaced due to error codes. All 3 errors occurred after owing the machines less than 1 year.

0x97 error

This is the kiss of death. Printer will not print no matter how many times you turn it on or off. It is a fatal error on this printer. The funny thing is the scanner still works but I can't print a dang thing. Worthless as a brick right now. Please exchange. Epson DO SOMETHING.

Error Code: 0x97

Bought a new one of these because the previous one of the same model started giving error code 0x97 and would no longer print anything. It would scan to a thumb drive, but printing whether from a computer or within itself trying to copy a page or print a test page, gave the same result: blank or nearly blank sheet.

Clogs up and Unable to unclog nozzles

We bought this printer after we couldn't purchase the great performing Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4530, which is what the WF-4630 replaced. THere is no comparision. This printer clogs up unless you use it every day and you can spend a lot of money trying to unclog it and it never does. The only saving grace is that you can use it to scan images. You sure won't be able to print out in black or color when the print head clogs up or copy for that matter. google youtube to see people shooting their WF-4630 with a shot gun, because they are so angry with their printer. I am so disappointed in EPSON that I doubt we will buy any more printers ever from this company, if they put out junk like this then I don't want to have to deal with it.

Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630

Just purchased a new Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630. Everything was packaged nicely and professionally. Setup was a breeze and loading the latest drives were taken care of by the setup program as it contacted Epson for the latest drivers. I tested the scanner and printed documents from my PC and iPhone, all easy and of excellent quality. Next phase will be to burn it in for a month and then, I hope that the review will remain in the excellent stage.
Till then, its a great buy!

I initially bought a demonstration model that turned out to be broken. It was replaced without question with the newer model. When I ran into difficulties connecting it to three computers the telephone support got me through the process quickly and professionally. The print quality and speed is wonderful.
