constantly updating the software

i'm constantly having problems with this printer and my laptop, it seems like every 3 months or so it just disconnects itself from my laptop and decides I need to download new software for it to work again.. such a pain in the butt. I'm also having problems with the copier on it as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not for the long term

Within 8 weeks the print quality started diminishing. Within one year hardware failure.

I do enjoy this printer it does a great job printing all the things that I need however it is very difficult for the apps to find it when it works it works great
