Good Performance, Nice Features, Great Value.

I purchased this printer to replace an Artisan 730 in which the magenta jets had clogged. I wanted a printer to print documents, print photographs, and scan documents. The 4630 does all of those functions exceptionally well. I especially appreciate double-sided scanning and printing. The separate paper tray is also a great feature, as I can leave photo paper in it. The 4630 chooses the correct paper tray. I am glad that I purchased it. Suggestion: Don't let your printer sit idle for long. The nozzles can clog. I set a weekly calendar reminder to print something in color every Saturday.

wireless set up difficult

The wireless set up isn't working very easily. I've reinstalled the product; read through directions and I'm quite frustrated. There isn't anyone to contact -- so I'm currently stuck with a lovely printer I can't use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have owned Epson ink jet printers for at least 25 years. This one is the best yet. Fast is not even the correct word for the machine. By the time you hit the print button and look over to the paper tray, it is printed. And, it duplexes silky smooth. It is easy to get the correct stunning visual print by adjusting the print density based on the paper used. The colors printed are stunning and 99.9% dead on true hue. We switched over our brochure printing form laser to this printer because of the crispness of the true yellows.

Excellent Value and Well-Built

Compared to other printers of Epson & other brands, this was the best value for the money. Research showed EXCELLENT reviews of this and most other Epson products. But, what has sold me on this 1st Epson product was the "USER-FRIENDLY" set-up including the "Start-Here" poster and the LED set-up screens. This is based on past printers I have owned or helped set-up! New Owners will NOT be disappointed!

Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4630

I got this printer in Nov. 2015 and I am very happy with the product. It prints fast and the quality is great. It also has a lot of cool features such as WiFi printing and remote printing, both of which I have used. With WiFi, there's no need for the USB cable, so there are less wires to deal with. With remote printing, I am able to email documents to the printer from anywhere. I also like the scan features: can scan to computer or scan to email. You'll need an internet connection, which your printer connects to in order to take advantage of these features. My printer is connected to the internet via my wireless cable modem.

Impressive!

Setup was surprisingly easy. Instructions were easy to follow. Was ready to print in less than a half hour delayed only by the length of time it took for printer initialization.
I have used primarily Epson printers since the days of DOS computing because of the quality of construction and the excellent output. The WF-4630 continues this tradition of excellence.
The type of printing I do is heavy on graphics such as full page photo calendars, etc. This was time consuming on computers intended for home use as well as demanding on that type of printer which required frequent printer replacement. Also, it is more convenient to print calendar pages with a rear feed which has seemingly become "extinct" on home printers. Although the WF-4630 is larger than I would have preferred the speed of printing and the quality of its output has exceeded my expectations. Printing a calendar on a home style computer took at least 45 minutes. The same calendar is printed in about 15 minutes using the WF-4630. My printer usage is not for business however my print projects are voluminous.
The standard ink cartridges for the WF-4630 are only slightly more costly than for a home printer. The output I got from the "starter" cartridges that came with the printer was about the same as what I was getting from the standard cartridge for the home printers I used in the past. The standard ink cartridges for the WF-4630 are a bit over twice the size of those for home printers so hopefully the output volume follows suit.
