Epson WF-4630 All-in-One Printer

I am disappointed. I was led to believe that this printer (4630) was capable of USB, WI-FI, and Ethernet capabilities.
I need all 3. This machine cannot do Wi-Fi AND Ethernet. It is either Wi-Fi OR Ethernet.
I also had difficulty setting up a static IP address. I had to call Manila, Philippines for support.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had to return this product three different times in order to finally get one that functioned correctly....i.e. without entire missing areas while copying and/or black lines in copies.
And yes, I ran all the provided diagnostics, which proved futile.

Disappointing

Bought this thinking it would be an enhancement over the WP-4530 I already own & love. Disappointed because almost all performance measures are worse but especially wireless response time and ink usage/cost. Touch screen is nice but not worth the trade off given the other performance drawbacks. Not impressed even at the sale price.

Good printer for documents, poor photo printer

This printer is great for printing standard files (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.) but it is a terrible photo printer. It is not intended necessarily to be a photo printer, but it is represented as a printer that produces quality images. It does not. Setting up the wireless access from our computers was difficult, and setting up air print so that we can print from mobile devices has been impossible so far.

won't work

I can't get this printer to charge the ink cartrages, I even left it on all night but to no avail. Have tried to get help from but again no luck. Very frustrating as I just received this printer. I have three other Epson printers that I use for photography. Have been very pleased until now.

Decent speed but uses ink

This printer has decent speed for a small desktop printer. I have it installed on various business users, and it is also pretty reliable. It uses quite a bit of ink, and it's not as good, overall, as the model it replaced (the 4530). Decent desktop printer, but not cheap to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesnt live up to the hype

I have had this machine for right on 2 years. Has worked great until recently. I have only made 6688 prints in 2 years. Printer smears ink when printing documents - won't print clear any more. Color prints have streaks now. Have done all routine maintenance, clean nozzles, print alignments etc. Won't fix problem. Talked to an Epson service rep and he said to just replace the printer as the print head probably needs to be replaced. Don't see how this machine would live up to the touted 30,000 copies per month when I didn't get 10,000 in 2 years.
