Great all in one printer

Great printer. Scanner high resolution. Took a little time to get everything set up but it does a lot of things so that is normal. Air printing with iPad was almost automatic. We have enjoyed the speed and two sided copying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't print fax's

I got this machine to replace a Brother laser all-in-one. It was highly recommended, but it will not print fax's automatically. It will save them to your computer to save paper, unfortunately it doesn't help if the computer is not on!

Overall, this is a good machine. It prints quickly and resolution is excellent, yet doesn't use ink as quickly as other printers I've had.
I run a small business, and love being able to scan documents and contracts quickly to the USB.

The one problem we have had since day one is that the lower tray will take bundles of paper through and jam. We use the top feeder almost exclusively.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The printer works fairly well. There is a squeak in the printer when using for multiple pages. Also, the computer has several color cartridges. If one cartridge is empty, the printer will not print in black or gray scale. I talked to technical support and confirmed this today.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good hardware poor software

I have had two of these machines for about 15 days now. One came without the T6710 Ink Maintenance Box so I really don't know yet if it will work. The other seems to work fine, and as far as the hardware is concerned all features work as expected. The driver, software and documentation, on the other hand, leave a lot to be desired. Wireless scanning to the computer is a hopeless proposition. You cannot use some common papers, like folio 6.5"x 13" for example, in the paper tray. You have to load them in the rear and from there it will not print automatically on both sides. The same holds true for two sided scanning with these papers. These are just a few of the limitations and aggravations you will slowly discover.
A so called 'Pro' product should come with 'Pro' drivers, software and documentation.
I would hold off buying until Epson improves the customer experience.

I like everything but the print mutes my bright colors when printed and I want bright colors on my flyers. Also, when I am printing there is this small area that the ink doesn't cover for some reason there's always a few small white pixels that doesn't get ink on my copies. So, I wasn't impressed entirely. I do like the printer and the WiFi which is very convenient.

The Epson Work Force 4630 is somewhat of a hassle to install on Mac.On the Mac Book,we had to download the app a number of times before it responded for proper use. This product was suggested to us for it's good reviews. We are somewhat deceived. I guess that once we finally get it to work on all of our PC's and Laptops, we shall forget about all the sweating!

scanning multiple pages is awful

I owned a 4530 for years and it was FABULOUS. It finally died and I bought this 4630. I mostly use it for scanning multiple page documents, several times per day. The old Epson was terrific - this one, I have to stand there and hold the next page otherwise it takes more than one page at a time. AWFUL !!!!
