Wi-Fi setup for Mac is difficult. I'm in 3rd hour.

Connecting to network

This device really sucks to get up and running for wireless printing. Hooked up many a printer never had this much trouble.
Also not very friendly if you want to scan something to an email address from device.
Forget about trying to get info from the manual.

I owned an Epson Stylus CX6400, and apart from the ink cartridge price, was quite satisfied with it. After some time it stopped working, and even the fixes offered on the internet no longer worked, so I replaced it with a WF4630. The colors on copies are nowhere near as vibrant, and when printing, unlike with the CX6400, I am offered no options in quality. I thought this was to be a step up, but instead i'm very dissatisfied with the product.

Poor Quality

Replacing the Epson Workforce Pro 4630 in less than one year. Not a durable machine. Purchased a replacement assuming that my computer would easily download a connection with printer since it was the same machine. Again this will delay efforts to print as system is not recognizing new machine.

Poor Performance

Purchased this in Sept 2015. After one year of moderate teacher use, printing is poor quality and no amount of head cleaning is fixing the problem. And now it's not working at all, giving an error message that is worthless.

Only Lasts 6 Months

We bought this printer for our office and it worked great until it started printing smudged. We cleaned the nozzle heads and it didn't help so we called Epson. They sent us a new printer because they said it was a hardware issue. Six months later the same thing happened, but now we aren't under warranty. They told us to drive it to an Epson technical help center, the nearest of which is 5 hours away. It seems like a product this expensive should last longer than 6 months without breaking. We won't be buying this again.

The printer was easy to set on my wireless network. Set up on laptops and desktop pc went smoothly. I am very pleased with this product so far. ( Just purchased this morning.)

New 4630 is Great

We replaced a 4530 (died after 2 years and began depositing yellow ink even after cleaning the jets) with the 4630. Overall this is a bit quicker, but does not use the same ink carts ad the prior one.
I'm still sorting out a few features, but the overall installation and set up processes are flawless.
I recommended the 4530, and reiterate my recommendation for the 4630.
