Worked great for a few months and then started getting an error code 0x97. was never able to get it fixed and had to replace it after just 11 months

WP-4530 still tops it. Runs out of ink too quick!

After buying almost 20 4530 models, I had high expectations for the newest model, the 4630. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its billing, because of one major flaw, IT RUNS OUT OF INK too quickly.
That's right, it seems as though after only a few hundred pages, printer shows low on ink. The workforce pro 4530 can print three times as many pages, and never break a sweat or show low ink. This is a major flaw.
I thought it was only the starter cartridges with the issue, but even the replacements show low in ink way too quickly. I currently am using four of these WF-4630s, and they are all becoming low on ink too quickly.
I wanted all the end users to know about this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ink too expensive & constant errors!

This printer constantly breaks down. If it runs out of ink in one color, you can not print at all, even if you do not need that color to print. It has random errors....currently, it will not print and just keeps saying "error 0xF1, please turn power off and on again."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Printer does save ink. When double sided printing, front & back, will not line up. (for b- cards or index cards).
Software does not allow choice of paper type (glossy or regular), nor of paper tray (front, APF, or rear), this must be done at the printer, nor does the software allow basic choices of Fast draft, quality Black,draft color, or quality color.
To have to go to the printer to do all these things, is Not Good.

Set up

I bought this printer because it got generally good reviews and has a low cost ink system. I have been working on set up for over two hours now and cannot get it to connect to my MacBook Pro properly. The manual is very confusing regarding wireless set up and does not provide any detailed info on how to set up with a Mac running Yosemite OS 10.10.3. I have set up other printers on this system and it was all very intuitive and straight forward - not so with this Epson.

Broken just after warranty expired.

The ink is low on the same day I installed the new ink and the print heads won't come clean even after multiple attempts. Seems like the product failed just after the warranty expired. Coincidence?

I JUST GOT THIS COPY, PRINTER, SCANNER AND FAX MACHINE. NO KIDDING, THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME SOMETHING THAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION. EPSON IS MUCH BETTER 100% THAN LASER JET AND THE REASON IS YOU OBTAIN MORE COPIES FOR LESS MONEY BUT BEST THAN ANYTHING, YOUR INK WILL NOT SMEAR IF YOU GET YOUR PAPER WET. I THOUGHT HE WAS KIDDING, BUT NO WAY.. IT IS TRUE I GOT MY DOCUMENT WET ON PURPOSE AND THE INK STILL INTACT ....I WILL RECOMEND IT 100%... MY BEST PART VERY EASY AND SIMPLE TO INSTALL IT! I DID IT MYSELF, AND GOT IT WORKING PROPERLY...
