Almost like a laser

I was replacing an inkjet with ink cartridges that just cost too much. This printer looked promising. After using it sparingly for a couple weeks, I'm impressed how fast it prints--and how the output has a laser-look to it. I'll be interested in seeing how long the ink lasts. The scanning process was simple as well--and my wife can print wirelessly from her laptop--nice!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not a computer expert, however, I find that not having a manual present a huge problem in using a machine like this....like where do you put legal paper, how to using printing from another location, several states away...web site is not user friendly, otherwise, printer is ok...if I can get other issues solved, then it might be a good printer. But to save cost and not provide a manual, wow.....

The WF-4630 is operating better than expected! As a long time HP printer user, I recently became disenchanted with their printers. My search for a replacement, I am pleased to say is the WF-4630. From ease in setting up the system to operationally printing has been smoother than ANY product I have used.
If this keeps up you will convert me to an extremely loyal owner, operator, and Epson evangelist!

The instructions to install and start the printer should be clear and easy they are not.

Less Than 1-Year: HORRIBLE PRINT QUALITY!

Cannot get the printer to print with our gaps & smears.
Changed ink cartridges, cleaned & aligned print heads (via menu), and bought top quality paper... still horrible printing.
Very disappointed in the product and EPSON.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We really like many of the features, duplex, scan, print quality appears to be very good. Not enough time to determine how long the ink cartridges last, which is a consideration.
Problems. Difficult to set up. Lack of easy to follow documentation. On screen wi-fi set up I found confusing and the system does not register our 5 GHz wifi network. I cannot even enter it manually. It does recognize the 2.4 GHz network.
The printer times out and will not "wake-up" when one of our computers sends a signal to it.

Very frustrating. There is no obvious work around other than to turn the printer off, and then back on. Then it works fine, until it times out again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This purchase was made based upon other product reviews. It appeared to be a good value. Price point on machine and ink was attatractive.
But....time is money! I have wasted lots of time trying to make adjustments for the printer to make copies. I have had multiple issues with multiple pieces of paper feeding through together. I have "fanned" the paper as recommended in the manual.

I also get "false" document jam messages when using the ADF tray. The message says open and remove...nothing there, can't progess until the machines is turned off then back on. Very frustrating when you are trying to get print jobs done.
I can't depend on this printer to get the job done quickly!!

I had this printer for only 6 months and I cannot get it to align correctly, replaced the ink cartridges and did all the alignments and still no luck. I'm hoping I can take it back for a replacement.
