I sell Real Estate and this is a great machine. It bridges the gap between an office monster machine and a high end home machine. Print, fax, scan, all wired or wirelessly. Ink wells ample. Print quality super!

2nd printer installed

This is the second WF-4630 I have installed. The first one is excellent -- high quality, smooth operation, wireless interface is great, very frugal with ink. Setup and installation is a snap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great except for paper tray selection

I had the WF 600 before and loved it. This one is even better. Overall, it is a great printer. The only problem I have is the paper tray selection. There should just be a switch on the front of it where you switch it to use the back or bottom paper tray. I use two different kinds of paper constantly and thought that having two trays would be easier than one, but it really isn't. You have to try to get it set to always print some stuff on one and some on the other and it's just a pain. I will probably start leaving the bottom tray empty and go back to switching it out.
As is so often the case "enhanced functionality" and "there's limitless ways you can use this" means it is hard to get it to do what you actually want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great for business, reasonable for home

First the great part: fast, quality printing of documents, wifi printing works excellent, easy setup without all the proprietary software that some printers inflict on you, works great with Mac. It advertises really conserving ink -- haven't printed enough to evaluate it but the promo cartridges that came with it are lasting nicely.
Downside -- and I was warned by the salesfolk -- the printing of pictures is -- odd. perhaps it is better with the proprietary Epson paper, but the colors have to be readjusted in pictures in order to come out properly and even then, I've not gotten the knack for making them look really good. Now, it prints graphics just fine; it is the photo-type printing that is just ok. But I decided even with the warning, that I do so much more printing of documents than photos that it was worth it to me to have a fast, reliable document printer that was only so-so on photos.

The 4630 is a good printer so far. If I could suggest one thing is to have more clear instruction on how air printing in done. My apple devices are not recognizing the printer

I can not believe what this machine is capable of doing until I starts to get to know it better, I 'am loving it, it`s going to be used to it`s fullest capacity by His Grace.

constantly breaking down

Bought this printer 10 months ago (first time Espon). Have had nothing but problems. Had to be replaced by Epson after one month because feeder was not picking up paper. Ten months later, the replacement printer had a fatal hardware error. Epson had to replace it again and sent me a refurbished one. Printing quality and photo quality were just okay. Though printer worked fine when I printed through wireless network, scanner could never communicate with my computer and I alway had to save scanned items on a USB disc to transfer to computer. Very disappointed with quality of product. If /when this refurbished WF4630 bites the dust, I will not be buying Epson again. Had much better luck with other brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paper not feeding properly

I was warned against buying an Epson printer, but it seemed like this one had good reviews. Oops. I've printed a few times and there's issues with it using the lower paper drawer. It grabs many pieces of paper at a time, sometimes as many as six. I wind up with a stack of paper, some has what I wanted printed, most pages are blank. I'm most likely going to return this in the next few days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
