4630 all in one

had a little problem with the wireless setup and called for help. The agent helped me install printer on my network and things are working great.

In April I purchased a printer from a well known computer maker. I had problems with it from day one. I stuck it out - re-installed it. I still kept losing features - scanning and faxing in particular. I could receive faxes but the day I tried for 2 hours to fax a document without success trying everyway I could think of - I threw in the towel.
Enter the Epson 4630. What a dream!!! Everything worked after the initial installation which was extremely simple and straight forward. It has worked every time and the warm up time is really quick.
Some companies make great computers - I have had a laptop from the company that I purchased the "posessed" printer from for over 7 years and I finally replaced it when I could not find a replacement keyboard for it but it is good for backup stuff with an external keyboard - but this computer company just doesn't do printers.
Don't waste your money. Spend less for an Epson 4630. It will save you in many ways but especially your sanity.

Having purchased this printer yesterday, my knowledge of it and each of its features is very limited. During installation, using the supplied CD, a manual was listed (which I chose). I can't find where it is available. Other than that I am VERY satisfied with the product, i.e, Workforce Pro WF-4630. For the availability of features and quality the price is exceptionally reasonable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Does It Again

I upgraded my Artisan 837 to this WF-4630 and could not be any happier. It is fast, quiet and is one of the rare printers on the market that has a Gigabit Network card. The software that is included with this printer like the Artisan is great and easy to use.
Do not think about buying this printer, just do it.

Just finished the wireless install process on two PC's and it looks like all systems go! Got the unit today, probably around 2 hours from unpacking it, to finishing the s/w install process. (on both pc's) Printed the test pages and a few other sample documents and they look good. As I said in the title..so far so good!

Set up was a breeze. I use it from home for business purposes. Set up was quick. I set it up as a wifi printer, I didn't have a USB cable handy, but it installed just fine. It installed on my windows 8 laptop too with no issues.
Cons: Not large enough paper tray, It will not fit a full ream of paper. Never the less it's fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!
