Piece of junk

This is the 2nd replacement of this printer which I originally purchased in Apr/May 2015. Epson replaced the previous 2 under warranty. I fear they won't once the warrant runs out even if it's the same problem.
The printer heads failed to align several months in on both the original and the 1st replacement. The scanning programme stopped working during the 1st replacement and now it won't scan with this second replacement either. I've tried re-installing the driver to no avail.
The printer's outputs were very good when the heads aligned, but what good is a printer if the heads start to misalign a few months in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer, so far

This printer is fast. Both the document feeder and the main paper tray operate two sided, so it's really easy to print, scan, or copy two sided documents. The ink cartridges are much bigger than my last printer (an HP officejet), so I hope the ink will last longer and be more economical. It's a bit noisier than my last printer, but it's not that bad. Print quality is excellent, both on regular paper and on glossy photo paper, which I am feeding from the rear paper feeder. We can print wirelessly from all our smart phones and tablets, as well as our computers. After one month of use, I'm really happy with the performance and ease of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problemo

Printer/scanner is a pretty little thing. Seems to print well, but the scanner is the pits.... so far. I cannot get it to scan to my Mac by using the Scan button.
Went to Epson for help and was sent across the
Pacific, where a fellow give me a bunch of numbers and links to use to track down the problem.
So far, device is definitely not scanner friendly. I may have to take it back if I cannot get help figuring this out.

WF-4600 Ink, ink and more ink $$$$$$

Horrible print quality

I have had a lot of printers over my 36 years in business. This is the worst. After only 7 months the print quality is so poor, I'm looking at purchasing a different printer. I have tried cleaning the heads repeatedly to no avail, they just always leave spaces on the test printout. I spent a lot of money to only get approximately 6 months of decent printing.

Streaks in color printing

This is the second Epson printer I've had that has streaks in color prints. Cleaning the print heads doesn't help.

Disappointing for an Epson product

This is the first Epson product that left me perplexed and disappointed. Printer started out great, putting out amazing prints. Then....the first change of ink cartridges happened....and it was all down hill from there. I followed the cartridge replacement process to the "T", using genuine Epson replacement cartridges. Suddenly, all my printouts were smeared and awful. I ran the built in head cleaning process over 20 times to no avail. The brand new high capacity cartridges showed empty by the next morning as well...no idea how that happened. I decided to once again invest in new Epson cartridges and nothing changed. Just awful. I am so disappointed. I went out and spent a lot more money on a competitor's printer which is working like a charm. The Epson printer unfortunately was a waste of money despite the good ratings it has gotten on MacWorld
