We are very happy with our new Epson printer. It has performed better than expected. I am retired and this is now our main printer. It does everything we have needed in one machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Pro WF-4630 All-In-One printer

Seems like a nice unit. Price was very good. I had a lot of trouble getting it connected to my computer/network and installing the software and updates. CD that came with it didn't work. Downloaded the driver online. Had to install about a dozen times before it worked. Could not get printer to connect with Wifi or USB cable, but it was finally able to connect with Ethernet cable after 4 or 5 tries. Now that it's installed and the firmware is updated it all seems to be working ok. A little frustrating, but I think it'll be a nice addition now that it's up and running. Kinda noisy too! You don't want to run this when you're trying to be quiet. Overall, I would recommend this unit.

I like the printer, but it seems that it takes a really long time (up to 5 minutes or more) to print something and even longer to scan & print it.
It's been very frustrating when I'm waiting for just a copy of something.
The copies look great once they finish.

No everyone has inexpensive or flat rate wi-fi

Somehow these companies think we all live in cities, but, guess what. WE DON'T! WiFi is very expensive for us, but it seems like every time I try to do something with this printer, despite my USB computer connection, wants me to download something. And the instructions are not very clear. You know, the ones I had to download.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I originally had an Epson Workshop Pro (a little smaller model) always worked well but was a little too small for some of my larger projects. Upgraded to this model for larger paper handling capacity. Very easy to set-up and use. I love the quality and the color photos are fantastic.

Return to the store as a defective unit. In draft mode the items on the page were too light since I had bar codes on the pages it was unacceptable and it would only run 6 copies per minute. I increased the quality level to standard and the page quality was great but I was only able to print 2 copies per minutes and this was unacceptable, WIFI was disabled in both operational modes. Went back to store and shared results with tech personnel and was told the unit was indeed defective and I should return it. Only one other store had this model in stock within a 60 miles radius so I went to different store and they only had one in stock and told me it is a very good seller and I must have just purchased a rare faulty unit. I bought the 4630 at this store but returned it as I was able to get my HP 8610 repaired by a friend while out searching for another printer. This is a neutral Review due to all the strange circumstances. I really cannot give a positive review without using the Epson 4630 for a period of time. This model is listed as one in the top five and I do not want report unsatisfactory results due to a little gitch.
