Love what it does, but...

I love the features, the capabilities of 11 x 17 etc. However, it doesn't want to recognize where the correct paper is at and I spend a lot of time changing paper trays. Also, I have had to re load the drivers 3 times now to have it recognize my computer and now the FAX won't recognize my computer. If the sprocket in my 7250 feeder hadn't stripped I would change back immediately! This is more pain than it is worth. A lot of lost work hours trying to get it to work right (and it still doesn't). I would recommed it to a friend if they were a computer wiz.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Although i haven't had it long, i am enjoying my Epson WF-7620 printer. Setup was easy and i am not especially computer savy. I have already used the enlarge feature, printed pictures and more. This is a really good printer and i would recommend it.

Unable to use

I bought this a year ago and was able to use it for 6 months. Had to eventually change out the original black ink cartridge and haven't been able to use it to print since. Scanning works fine but still after 6 months not able to even print out a test page. Aggravating!

A do-it-all machine that does it well

The series name of the printer is aptly named Workforce series. It works and works hard. The best features include: multi-format paper capabilities up to 13x19, automatic duplexing for both printing and scanning, auto feed, and scan to the cloud. It's also pretty fast on printing. Quality is okay though it would be nice if Epson could update / provide better head alignment software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Quality Plastic used in Ink/Nozzle Carriage
on September 18, 2017

I have seldom used this printer since I purchased. Today, I tied print a page the loud noise came from the printer. After an hour of searching the cause, I found that the rear right corner of the carriage was broken and the broken piece of black plastic jammed the carriage. After removing the broken piece, the printer powered up without strange noise. HOWEVER, the head alignment was completely screwed up. I ran the alignment process from MAINTENANCE menu a couple times, but the alignment has never been corrected.
The main causes of chipping the plastic are (1) Poor quality of design and material, (2) the carriage returns to the home position with excessive force and speed, creating a massive impact when it hits the end stop.
I am really disappointed to see that the mechanical designer did not foresee the impact on the carriage when it returns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
