Versatile Quality Printer!
on March 11, 2015

I work in a copy and print center. This little home office printer rivals any of the larger laser printers that I have used in both the quality of the print (both photo and text/graphic documents) and comes very close in the versatility it offers in paper sizes, types of media it can process and auto duplexing (two sided printing). It also offers a wider choice of adjustable printer properties than any other home printer I have owned. I am very pleased with both the features and the quality of this printer.

Extremely happy!

Purchased the WF-7620 as I needed a printer that could handle 11x17 CAD drawings but could also print photos as well. The print quality is outstanding, ten times better than the unit from another manufacturer that I replaced. It's also much quicker and doesn't go through ink as quick. I've been a long time fan of Epson products and this unit does not disappoint!

The worst printer I have ever purchased
on January 13, 2016

It is an extremely difficult printer to install, both wirelessly and direct wired. I had to hire a computer specialist to get it to talk to communicate with any device I own, both Mac and PC. The control panel is complicated and the printers functions are so buried in abstract menus, changing anything from paper size to copy darkness is an difficult task. I would not purchase this printer if given any other option. Even as I write this, this is the second time i have submitted this review. Epson's help desk has still not contacted me back to come to my aid, a request more than a week old.

DON'T BUY THIS PRINTER

Just discovered that if you happen to run out of ink, this all-in-one becomes a NONE-IN-ONE. All functions shutdown - not just the printer. You can't scan or fax or anything until your ink arrives. Have a good time waiting for your ink to arrive and explaining to your customers that you can't use the scan function until your ink arrives. This is the last Epson product we will ever buy.

Installation for Dummies
on July 12, 2014

I'm age 61 with average computer skills. Without a doubt, this was the easiest installation process I've ever experienced. It took me about 30 minutes from out of the box to up & running. I could have done it quicker; but, I ordered the 6 foot USB cable, just to save a couple of dollars. I wish that I would have ordered the 10 foot USB cable to reach my PC from the table location I want to mount the printer. Now, I need to re-arrange my office furniture; but, I needed "a change" anyway. This printer is billed to do everything that I need. I can't wait to get into production with it, since the "test page" looked terrific.

Good Printer with Some Issues - Maybe Recco
on December 12, 2014

My actual Recommend to Buy would be MAYBE
After having it for some time now to use it in all modes, it's a good AIO printer, but not without some concerning issues.
The main problems are:
1.) the duplexer for 2-sided printing is way too prone to jamming with no discernible paper problems (e.g.: paper isn't bent, folded, etc.).
2.) Duplex mode is exceeding slow! Glacial pace!!
3.) The wireless connection is not very good & it can take several tries & restarts to get it to print with only about a 50' distance laptop & wireless router to printer & 3-4 bar of 5 wireless reception!
4.) Copy mode is ponderous to get mode selections, as are several others on the touch screen. It's not always easy nor intuitive to get to what you want. It also doesn't let you save your own preferences very well - if at all - either on the printer's touch screen, nor via the software on your computers.
On the good side, set-up was pretty easy & uneventful, copy/print quality is very good & reasonably fast in single sided mode.

Good for basics only
on September 7, 2015

The printer is quick, efficient and simple to use. It does what Epson promises. However, print quality, even at the best setting on basic photo paper looks like draft printing. The resolution is good, but the colour depth is poor, poor contrast and faded. Even black text appears slightly greyish. Will not recommend to anyone who needs reasonable quality printing.

Epson WF7620

Rather disappointed. I've used other Epson printers for years and been very pleased. Print quality is ok but not great. Terribly awkward machine to use. Cannot get presets to remain in place. Have to choose every time. Have NEVER been able to use top feed for copying or scanning. It chews up every sheet, even brand new single sheets of 8.5 x 11 paper. If loading a few pages, it jams on the very first one. Wireless options are pretty quirky and unreliable.
