Epson Workforce 7620 Lives up to its name

This product was purchased for personal use, I've run it through its paces and it's kept up amazingly well. Large 11 x 14 scrolls on papyrus go through beautifully, no problems with bunching or paper jams.
Extremely happy with this printer, I've had it almost a year and it never lets me down.

Love the Epson WorkForce WF-7620 Printer

I am so glad we bought this printer. The color images it prints as so accurate. It prints incredibly fast, and it handles larger sized papers like 11 x 14 which I use often for my art. Would highly recommend this printer for everyone. It is the best printer I have ever owned.

Epson WF-7620 Purchase

This is a nice printer and it works very well. The only thing was I needed to download the manual to figure how to make Epson Connect work. The printer set up instructions are just that. They do not go into enough detail about anything else. The Scan and Fax features work very well, but again, without the manual, I would not have been able to set them up.

Great but......

99% of the all in one printer does what it is supposed to. However, I have 11x17 paper in it and no matter what I do, I can not get it to print to that paper. locally the tray shows it has the paper in it yet, when I select print size, the largest I can get is legal.

I've seen changes in printing over the last 37 years as an architect. This one will be replacing all medium sized format printers in my office.

So far, so good...

I purchased this printer a few nights ago because I needed a large-format printer for printing some 11x17 documents for an upcoming meeting the next morning. Luckily for me, setup was quick and easy and the prints came out just fine. As a bonus, I found that the printer does not need to be directly connected (wired) to your computer in order to connect wirelessly (many printers do). It finds your computer, not the other way around.
There was only one issue I'd like to mention: the paper trays don't click in and only slide in until you feel resistance. When I sent my first print, I got an error message that said cartridge 2 is not installed correctly. I assumed it meant that ink cartridge #2 wasn't fully seated, so I messed around with that for half an hour until it occurred to me that it may be the paper cartridge instead; it was. Since they don't 'click-in', it's not easy to tell if they're fully-seated in their slot. The printer is pretty fast, but it's also noisy and vibrates a lot when it prints. In fact, it shakes my desk. That being said, it's easy to set up, use, and the prints are just fine for what I need. If I need professional quality prints, I go to a print shop. If I need everyday documents printed, I go to my Epson.
Note for Epson: It would be really nice if your future printers could print 17"x 22" paper. Those of us in the architecture field typically use 30"x 42" paper (at least architects who design big buildings do) and using 17"x 22" paper would allow us to print our drawings half-size (15"x 21") and still maintain measurable scale. It's also about the minimum size that the text on our drawings can be read. How about it Epson? We're a pretty big market.

one of the best buys

After dealing with substandard printers most of my life, I finally bit the bullet and bought the best. My WF-7620 is a work horse that prints like a show horse. Cannot say enough good about this product. What minimal problems I have had were easily rectified by a visit to the website. I will be an Epson owner from here on out.

Worked for 2 Years ... but great customer service!

This is a really massive and feature rich printer: two drawers for just about any size paper, can feed 11x17" in the back, huge scanner bed, auto feed, 2-sided, 2 trays for paper, fax, wired/wireless...just about everything.
It stopped working after 2 years due to an error code 97. No way to fix whatever this error is at home. Called epson, they ran me through some diagnostics, didn't fix it, then shipped me a new one for free. Unexpected customer service! Got here in less than 48 hours.
Hope it works longer than 2 years this time. Would love to keep the printer humming for a lot longer.
