ink cartridges are set up poorly & you waste $$

The cartridge set up won't let you run just on black ink you have to replace every colored ink cartridge that is low or the printer won't run. If you use his printer for your business you will find yourself replacing ink all the time and the ink is very high price because Epson does not have a refurbished ink So will find yourself spending a lot of money just to be able to keep working .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

11x17 prints

When printing onto 11x17 paper quite often I experience a paper jam. I would say 25% of the time.

I feel I owned this printer long enough to give it a fair review !
Pros;
Great Printer at a great price ! dual trays and back feed also for card stock !
Awesome prints also excels in text can't say enough about the printer itself and such a low price !
also Epson sets you up so that your printer has its own email this alone is great !
11 x 17 scanning platen large scan area .!

Cons;
I would have given this printer 5 stars but the software is buggy if you print on a network and even though I pick the right cassette and paper it will some times tell me the paper is incorrect ,
fine but you have to go to the printer to answer the error or your print becomes locked up in queue very annoying when you have a lot to print ,
A fix would be able to correct it on your desktop OS with out walking to to printer each time

I really like this printer other then that! its big also
But, if you need a printer for AutoCAD drawings like I did without buying a full size plotter and still print regular letters , this the one !

Wireless printing hardly ever works

I have had this printer for a little over a year and I don't remember the last time I could print from it wirelessly without canceling the print job, restarting the printer, or restarting the computer. Despite that the printer will indicate that it has an "excellent" connection with my computer, it will usually not print and the print job will indicate "connecting to printer" and then "the printer is not responding." Today I will buy a cord and hard-wire the printer via USB, which will negate the reason I bought the "wireless" printer in the first place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Maintenance Nightmare

Printer is only 2 months old and clogged printer head jets became a recurring issue almost immediately. Using the "clean" function only worsens the clogs, a problem well documented in on-line material and acknowledged by Epson. Also, it is recommended to turn off your printer at night and to use full color printing no less frequently than every 4 days. So, no vacations for me? No nighttime wireless printing from my mobile devices?
When working, the print quality was fantastic, but we lost total access to blue ink after only 3 weeks, so only useable as a B&W printer now- and the black clogs easily, so not sure how long that will last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome Set-Up

I am not a tech savvy person, but setting up this printer was so easy, I could do it! Now we have two Epson Printers in our home office...the WF-3540 and WF-7620. Both are so easy to work. Epson has really come a long way in product improvement and enhancement. Great job, EPSON! Time to corner the market!

Great value for a lot of Printer

I was very pleased in the ease of operation and setup of this printer. I also was impressed with the quality of photo printing.
I think the addition of a photo editing program would be nice for those who are starting out, but that would only be a want.
Thank you for putting out a great and affordable printer with tons of options and easy to use touch-screen.

Love This Printer

I love this printer! I purchased it for the 11x17 printing capabilities. I love that you have a drawer to hold the 11x17's. My previous printer (Brother), had to feed each paper individually, and you had to baby sit it. The prints are clear and prints fast! It does make a little noise and it is pretty large, but it is amazing!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!
