PLEASE BUILD A 11 X 17 OR BETTER SCANNER
ONLY AT A COMPARABLE PRICE TO WF7620.
I HAD TO BUY THE ALL IN ONE JUST TO GET THE WIDE SCANNER, DID NOT NEED THE PRINTER OR FAX.

Nice printer but an ink hog

We've had this printer for only a couple of weeks and it is certainly an ink hog. We love the quality and everything about it, but the ink usage is way too high. We're not heavy users and already have gone through all the color cartridges that came with it and over half of the extra we bought with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do not order toner from Epson.com

I have the Epson workforce 845 and do like the print, copy, and scanner quit a bit. But re-ordering ink from epson took 2 full weeks from CA to Colorado. I had to cal another company to get my toner in the meantime as the machine will not print if only one cartridge is empty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I spent a lot of money for a new Epsom printer and just as with my last Epsom printer the instructions are not clear and the process did not function as it should. No "do this" and "this is what should happen" to go to the nest step or the programing takes care of unknowledgeable "non-geek" user. Pictures are nice but the process that an owner gets leaves MUCH to be desired.

Great printer and scanner!

This is a great all-in-one printer. I love the oversize scanning bed and the fact that it will print and automatically duplex on many different sizes and types of paper. I don't use the fax function so I can't discuss that, but I have gotten great results scanning documents into my computer as well as making copies and printing original documents from my computer. My old color laser died and at first I was very sad that it had to be replaced, but this WF-7620 printer does so much more than my old laser printer did, and does it so very very well that now my wife wants to buy one for her office!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Registration and setup

After registering my WF-7620 I continue to get prompted to register. On the first 3 registrations I declined the additions emails and product participation. This time I elected to accept them to see what happens, does the registration invite cease to appear every day.
As for setup, using ledger and letter paper the machine is confused. At setup I selected for letters tray 1 and ledger in tray 2. Unless I select the tray the machine will select paper tray 1, letters, to print ledger sheets. This is a waste of ink and an even bigger waste of my time.

just purchased this machine on Sunday, had to carry it back due to paper roller not working. they exchanged it with no problems and in a professional manner," if you have any problems bring it back, and we will take care of it" she said to me and my wife. Then she said "have a good day". this entire transaction shocked me because of the customer satisfaction was great as well as being highly concerned about replacing this product. Yes I would highly recommend this product to my friends.

So far I am very happy with this wide format printer. It is too soon to tell if the less than laser cost claim is true. I am impressed with the speed at which this printer operates. The setup was extremely simple and quick for me.
