Not user Friendly

The print app is not easily understood. The printer is hard to setup on both Wi-Fi and network... tried both ways. You can't choose default settings on devices such as ipad unless you are printing though the app itself, meaning you can't choose black and white through air print. It will automatically do color. Print quality is good and it is quiet which were high selling points for me. The double sided feature works well. Just wish interfaces were more user friendly as I am not a complete novice and it stumped me more than once. Online guides are not helpful either... did not try videos but may do that next if I can't get it to work on all my devices. Love having two paper trays.

Great for printing on 11" x 17"

We tried several other printers that were more expensive and different brands for printing 11" x 17". The other printers were terrible they kept jamming and you had to manually feed them. This printer was $100 less and works great! We print all of out exam forms on this printer and it prints two sided 11" x 17" great! I would highly recommend it! The only - is the black ink cartridge seems to run out pretty fast. We are now buying the higher yield cartridge.

So far, the WF-7620 is a great printer

I had an Epson Artisan 800, about five years old. The Epson Workhorse WF-7620 is "LIGHTYEARS BETTER". Epson has done an amazing job with it. I unpacked, set-up and installed the printer and fax software from the CD provided on two desktop computers and three laptops in a little bit over a half an hour, each one on the very first try. Even with just four cartridges (CMYK), the print quality is much cleaner and sharper than with the the six cartridges on my old Artisan 800. The scan quality is great and printing speed (for both 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 sheet sizes) is very quick. Thank you Epson. I give my new all-in-one printer a big thumbs up!

This is the most awesome MFP that I have ever purchased. I absolutely love it.
Printer feature wish list:
Wide format (11x17 copy/scan and 13x19 prints) - covered Color (How can people stand living without?) - covered Easily Unjammed - covered Speed - covered (so much that it makes my network look slow) Auto duplex - Even on the ADF? Wow.
So much more - COVERED.
Overall: Great printer. You should get it

Fails to properly detect 11x17
on May 13, 2016

The printer started off ok, but has since gotten worst. If the printer is not used on a daily bases the print heads get clogged. It doesn't stay in alignment either. Depending on what level you set for the quality will determine the level of misalignment. The higher the level the better the alignment.
Our WF-7620 detects an 11x17 as an A3 in the feeder. This in turn screws up the printer setting for anything being printed after that. It has a mystery reset for cassette 1 to. It keeps changing it from Plain Paper to Letterhead. This in turn makes detecting the proper sheet size unusable in the feeder. It also affect prints being sent to it.
The conclusion is this printer has fine qualities, but its problems make it a piece of junk in my book. I would neither buy it again or recommend it to anyone.
As a warning to anyone needing the 11x17 capabilities check the paper size slider on the feed tray. See if placing it at B4 will register 11x17 and A3 at 11x17. If it does expect the problems we are having.

Nice unit but

I really like this AIO printer. It is fast and easy. With one exception people should be aware of. After a while the scanner didn't work anymore with my computer. As ussual with Epson, a TWAIN driver issue. God help you if you get this problem too. I succeeded in the past to fix issues like this with other Epson scanners but not with this one. I needed to make PDFs from scanned documents and ended up reinstalling Windows7!! Epson had years to fix this vulnarability but alas, simply reinstalling the printer does not solve this problem as it should.

Excellent Printer and Good Value

I updated my old printer to the WF-7620 and very impressed. The only negative is that I could not figure out how to do the Epson Connect. Instructions were not explicit enough.
