The installation was very simple and straight forward but long. I was able to set up Epson iPrint on my phone and tablet and printed great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer does all I need plus some more. There is so many things you can do with it that I can't even figure some of it out.

Workforce wf3620 printer

This is an absolute winner for my small business. I went with a workforce wf 3620 for its size and features.
My previous printer was a workforce 500, that went through ink like it had a drinking problem

The workforce wf 3620 is amazing in advancements since the older workforce 500. The ink lasts a long time and it's hard to believe how advanced they have become in just saving ink.
Then I had to print a picture onto regular office paper to show individuals I had on security to proper officials. WOW THIS PRINTER IS AMAZING. at first I ignored the fact my paper setting was set for gloss picture paper and it was still a great picture, then I changed the setting to Matt finish or flat( whatever it was called for a non glossy paper for printing pictures ) and it was perfect. I couldn't believe the quality difference just from a simple setting (setting on computer you can change after you click print,when the box pops up asking how many prints etc. )

Can you say touch screen ? Yes it does and no the workforce 500 didn't.

I have it set as a dedicated fax and it's flawless. Never skips a beat. When sending multiple pages, even with a few in the group that have bad corners or creases it still feeds them through to scan. The older one wasn't so kind.

This printer is worth the cost all day long and a great investment for any home printing or small business or larger business that only need a smaller amount of paper in the tray. I think this holds around 250 sheets. Next step up from this printer is exactly the same except for an additional paper tray on front as well which doubles paper amount to around 500 sheets.
After I purchased this I was banging my head on my desk thinking why oh why didn't I buy this a year ago.
Just a note, if used for home and this applies to all printers, never let your printer set without using it for a long time or the Jets or head (tech named things)will plug up. I'm glad I let my workforce 500 plug up because it brought me to this much more advanced printer at a very affordable price.
And always buy the ink made by the manufacturer. It is made for the printer for a reason. People can argue savings all day long about ink cartridges but you sacrifice quality when getting off brand cartridges. Remember these printers are more advanced and save you money on ink and print far more pages that the older models such as my workforce 500.

Excellent all-in-one especially for educators

This is a good all-in-one. It is a RELIABLE printer, doesn't use too much ink (Maybe the ECO printers will solve the excess cost of ink!) and is excellent scanner. The best is the auto two-sided scanning. I use it to scan all my college freshman quizzes because I had some "collusion" in a big class. I scan all the quizzes automatically --Takes about 5 minutes a section. I then have a record in case of "Professor, I think you mis-graded # 5..." It only takes one or two quizzes for my mistaken grading to suddenly become much improved. I use the scanner in conjunction with "ABBYY" pdf + software. That way I have one PDF file for each class that can be removed after a couple of weeks. Since the quizzes are two-sided I want auto two-side sided scanning. Jamming is a very tiny problem --maybe one jam per two classes (100 pages) Monitoring without paper waste! I LIKE IT

Printer works well in Print, Scan, Copy, and Fax modes. Very pleased with printer and ink usage. Have also installed a WF-3640 in Office. Support software very complete and instructive. Easily changed ink cartridges. Suggest getting XL for longer printing. Great deal!!

More than needed...but annoying

I needed a printer that would print a number of envelopes...this printer promoted a special tray for that purpose. I have yet to make that feature work. It is extremely annoying to have to continually confirm on the screen that the paper size is correct! The touch-screen feature is difficult to engage and more than difficult to move from selection to selection. It does print quickly -- except for some Excel documents...I have no idea why. This product does not enhance my work flow and has proven to be an annoyance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
