I just purchased but this printer was the easiest to set up out of all the printers I have ever set up. Test pages look very high quality. Happy so far

I bought this printer today and I just installed. Each step of the installation went on without any problem, but it took me about 45 minutes total.. The test print and the Fax looked very good. I printed a picture from my IPhone without any problem. The program from the CD had very good instructions and all the data from the PC and the printer were done automatic. I only had to click to make selection from the screen. I'll write an update review in a month or two. I'm rating this on installation and first impressions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2nd Time is a Charm

My first unit was impractical for wireless printing. It took 2 minutes for the connection to start the printing. Then within 2 months the printer would not work at all... not even turn on. I received a replacement unit (although it was labeled "Refurbished" which ticked me off). However, after setup it has worked flawlessly. Wireless printing starts within a few seconds.
There are a few features that cause me to rate this only as an "Average" machine.
1. The rear tray is for one sheet of paper only. When asked to load a page, most of the time it is fed into the printer at a slight angle so that the printed result is askew.
2. To switch between Wireless printing, USB serial printing and Faxing, you have to go to the Windows Devices in Control Panel and select one of those three separate devices... each time you change. Very inconvenient.
3. When printing from the cassette, there are a number of times when an error message says the paper is incorrect size when it is not, in fact when it just printed the page immediately preceding it in the stack.

So far I love all the great things this printer can do. The multi page feeder works great when sending faxes. Also for scanning.
