Little difficult for new MAC user to set up but doable! Prints quickly and quietly, very glad I got a good bang for the buck.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer/scanner when it communicates

Bought it tax time last year. Still trying to get it to work consistently. It goes from not communicating with the computer to operating as it should. Some problems were from changing online service and associated bugs. was able to print my taxes this year but today it wouldn't recognize the scanner on the my Wi-Fi. Downloading and reinstalling drivers and a firmware update. Some little bug is still in the Apple but the Win 10 is looking very promising.
I have had and enjoyed Epson printers since the very early days of home computers(texas inst. TI-99/4A) but the last couple have been treated like redheaded step children by the writers of the installation software. You really have to work to get it installed. the answer to the question below is MAYBE. It will depend on how experienced the buyer is.

We bought this model about a month ago and love it. It's very easy to set up and does everything we want it to do and more. It's worth the price.

This is the wporst priter I have ever bought. It constantly goes offline, sometimes if you turn the printer off and on again it works, sometimes you have uninstall the printer and then reinstall it. I have nothing but problems with it EVERYDAY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
