Frustrated about All-in-One Setup

I like to consider myself adequately knowledgeable about computers and setting up/troubleshooting devices, but so far I have found nothing easy about getting the All-in-One features setup appropriately... although it prints perfectly fine from my computer. I'm sure (or at least I hope) there's something I'm missing in the setup but I've followed every step to the T - twice. If I had been clearly instructed on how to set up the all-in-one functions I think I would be in love with this device. Until then I can't give it the rating I was initially thinking it would deserve nor would I recommend it to someone if I don't even know how it works.

Just got this printer. My primary reason at this point is to scan old photos and a dedicated scanner (even Epson) actually cost more than all-in-one printers.
We actually have an Epson WF645 downstairs for a couple of years (and have one at work) and for the most part they preform great. I decided to get another one for the up stairs office. Had a fantastic Epson dedicated scanner for years (the Perfection model) but it will no longer connected to my Mac (even when downloading the newest driver).
As I said, main purpose now will be for scanning and didn't want to go downstairs every time I needed to load in more photos.
The Epson AirPrint works great with all our Apple devices. Set up was fairly easy EXCEPT I kept getting an error code during setup - why? I didn't notice there was another piece of styrofoam tape inside the printer ink area, so the print cartridge could not move. It was only after I went online (at another help site) did I find out what to look for.
Honestly Epson, you should note in your setup guide about this nearly-hidden piece of packing! I was ready to take it back before I found the answer!
Hopefully this printer will work as well as the other Epson Workforce. We'll see...

Good Printer but doesn't really support 4x6

I like the printer, it is easy to set up. Over all it is a good printer but don't buy this printer if you need to print 4x6 on card stock. The 4x6 settings are extremely limited such as you have to set the mode to Borderless which then requires photo paper and then setting a custom size. Custom size? The specifications say this printer supports 4x6 paper and to me that says it will support it on any paper and it should be in the drop down of paper sizes the user should be forced to use difficult to configure custom settings. Look for a different printer if you require 4x6 card stock to be your media type because this printer is a headache to configure for such purposes.
This is the only reason I gave this printer a poor rating.

The set up was relatively easy. We had issues with phone lines - but that is not your fault.

it jams every 3 or 4th papers of printing, and i dont use printer a lot like maybe twice a month i bought brand new since day one paper stuck where is head running, never expect that from epsons printer
