Now I am finally disappointed, after being happy for 2 yrs.

I bought my WF-3620 about two years ago. It has been the best black and white printer I have ever experienced. I need to print lots of music, and it's just what I needed. However, after this last ink change, the printer will no longer give me good copies, in fact, they are quite unreadable.

Great up until recent issue with scanning to computer

I've had my Epson WF-3620 for a couple years now, and I loved it; never had any issues with it; could print from my phone, and others could as well.
A few months ago I was unable to scan when using the control panel, and for a short time I just used my computer's scanning feature.
In an attempt to use it from the control panel again, since that is a feature of it, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it countless times. I have saved my computer to the printer using the preset option, but when I select scan to computer, then select a computer, my computer does not show up!!!! I'm beyond frustrated, and would truly appreciate an answer on how to fix it??
I would recommend for others because of the price, efficiency, the fact that other aspects work fine, and prior years of good service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the second one i've purchased. The first one is still working and this replaces a different printer that stopped working. Very happy with the printing and scanning functions. Great for our small office.

Works great for first 6 or 7 months

This unit is great if you are buying for the short term but after awhile the print does not print clearly and eventually will not even print at all! Not even test page. Gives error code Ox97. Got so frustrated that there was NO support or updates to this printer. Ended up getting an Epson WF-3640.Ihope it lasts longer than the previous one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WORST PRINTER EVER

This printer is the worst I have had in 20 years. Right now I am waiting for it to recover from replacing the ink cartridge - a process that has taken almost 10 minutes since I inserted the cartridge. My print job (payroll) was stopped midway through to replace the ink. The printer spit out the remaining checks (blank) and once the printer finally got its act together with the new ink, it printed the paychecks on blank paper. Additionally, about 50% of the time when I need to scan, the printer cannot communicate with my computer - this can happen immediately after I just scanned a document. Just suddenly can't communicate. I have to turn the printer off and restart it. I would love to reenact the scene from the movie Office Space. I bought this printer particularly because I often need to print a single check and it has a sheet feeder for single page. However, in 3 years I have never been able to get it to work. Last Epson printer I will ever purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refuses to communicate wifi

Husband purchased this for me, so I've tried to be happy with it. I'm not, tho. Sitting 1 floor above & approximately 15ft max from our router, THIS model refuses to print from my phone under any conditions. Says no connection, wi-fi not connected & I've registered it as it asked to complete set up & tried everything & it is VERY disappointing as THAT & copying old photos & documents wirelessly was my goal. He purchased for himself a XP-430 and it immediately showed up on MY phone & prints from it wonderfully. We wanted SEPARATE printers as we each purchase our own ink & I've always used significantly more wi-files printing than he. I would never have purchased this product tho have loved the previous EPSONS we've both owned. I need consistent connection & this model is not providing it. It copies nicely from pages put in it. That is the only other feature I've had need of since receiving this.
