Great Set-Up!!

The set-up for the Epson WF-3620 was incredibly easy. I was dreading the set-up process, because some companies make it so difficult. Not the case with Epson. I am so pleased at the ease it took to connect to the internet, WI-FI connection was simple and didn't take long at all; 30-45 minutes tops, from the time I opened the box, till the equipment was ready to use. Fabulous!!

No real world hands on manual

I know this product is great and that it will work good with my Mac but whatever happened to a hands on manual included with the product when you buy it? I found I had to chase down info on the internet to find a simple answer when a manual that came with the product would have been good to have and made things easier....just sayin'

Epson WF-3620 printer

I have had this printer for a few weeks now. Fast, quiet operation, very good colors and resolution. Had a little difficulty setting up with my iMac but was able to add it to my wireless network via the printer keyboard and display. Can scan and print wirelessly from my iMac and print from my iPad and phone. All paper feed is from the front and manually scan and copy from the top. The only negative is the location for the ink cartridges, have to lift the top and access a difficult to remove cover to get to the cartridges.

Does the job !

I am well pleased with my WF-3620. Install was very easy and I find it performs well for scanning to PDF files , printing envelopes and on card stock. It does what I wanted a printer to do. I think as in all cases the cost of ink is to high but that is another issue.

Epson WF-3620 All-in-One Printer

This is the best all-in-one printer I ever owned, despite a couple of issues I have addressed below. It was easy to set up and is easy to use. I have printed, scanned, copied, and faxed with overall excellent results. I have also easily printed envelopes from the rear paper "tray". However, there are two issues that should get attention by Epson.
First, when retrieving a scanned image, I get a message to download a font pack to properly view the image. It turned out that it was an Asian font pack. I found out on line that the OCR font used in the scanning process is considered by the Epson software to be Asian. I found that if I just cancel the message instead of downloading the font pack, that my scanned image has no errors and looks the same as the original. I was concerned that if I download the Asian font pack that my scanned document would be in an Asian language instead of the English original. Therefore, I have not downloaded it. Per the internet, this only occurs with the Epson All-in-One printer.
Second, when sending a FAX, during the process of sending it, I get a message that the process has timed out. This made me concerned that the FAX was not sent. However, when I ran the FAX report, it indicated that the result was OK, and when I called the recipient of the FAX, they advised that they received the entire FAX (it was 8 pages, followed by a 6 page FAX to the same recipient). I initially tried to FAX 13 pages, but during the sending process, I picked up the phone to make a call because I got the timed out message and thought the phone line was free, but it was not. The FAX was shown in the FAX report to be in error, and the recipient stated that they only received 5 of the 13 pages. The FAX report showed that the FAX was sent a second time (presumably because of the error caused by my picking up the phone receiver), and the result was shown to be OK. But, the recipient stated that they never received that 13 page FAX after only receiving 5 pages. So, I thought perhaps I was trying to FAX too many pages. That is why I sent two FAXes using the same cover page, the 8 page FAX, then the 6 page FAX. The recipient advised that they received both. I suspect that had I tried to again send the 13 page FAX that it might have gone through given that although the printer indicated that the process timed out, it was really still sending the FAX. Epson needs to update the software to preclude timing out before the completion of sending the FAX, and it should provide a message that the FAX was successfully sent on the LCD screen instead of having to run the FAX report to find out. I tried to see if there was a setting to allow more time for the process of sending a FAX, but could not find anything that addressed it in the downloaded users manual.

download of drivers takes for ever
on March 23, 2016

This is the second printer I have purchased in two day. So far both have failed to download the driver software. The first was a workforce 3640. the second is a 3620-we will see fi that works. So far after an hour---no software.
Why wasn't it on the CD. All I get is a download option-why couldn't the software be on the CD???? So easy that way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed - Only lasted 1 year.

Purchased this printer and loved it at first... until just over a year later it will not longer print properly. We have changed the ink and put in brand new cartridges, but it continues to print at a faded light gray that is unreadable, with lines running through it. Never been dropped or even moved for that matter... It just stopped working. Read other people's reviews who had similar problems. Save your money and purchase something else.
