Thus far I am very satisfied with the product. Had a bit of trouble with figuring out the scan feature but got it handled. Instruction manual is lacking however. Very vague and assumes you know more that you do. Not everyone is tech savvy.

USB line not included

Epson does not include the proper USB line and the salesman at the store did not inform me. Had to find one before I could configure machine. Appears to be a quality machine but set-up i.e. ink and paper loading, is not intuitive for this non-techy. Diagrams are not adequate. Detailed written directions would help.

NOT user friendly and too many steps to just print

High print quality and many features, but a pain to print out documents and leads, which I will primarily be using it for. Could be much MORE user friendly! Setting up was easy but I think the product should bypass all the steps if you simply want to print a document. Seems pretty ridiculous to go through all those steps for a print job. I think secretaries in a small office would get frustrated with this too. Reads printer jam when it is not jammed at all. Just need to turn on and off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my first experience with an Epson printer and found the installation instructions quite clear. Installation on a WI-FI network was easy with no problems encountered. Looking forward to using all functions as time goes by.

Not Mac friendly

December 2015 purchase -- After install, I was unable to scan successfully. Called support line and they put me through several steps and still no success. The service rep finally put me on hold and came back (long wait, but I refused to give up at this point), she said this is a known Mac problem -- the driver will be updated early 2016. I was furious. There was no caution anywhere earlier and obviously support staff were not aware either. I am now waiting for the promised driver update. If still not working, I will return under warranty.
