So far, real good!

The price was excellent, and I have had the printer about a month. I was concerned about printing wirelessly, but it has worked flawlessly, even scanning, which my other printer wouldn't do wireless. I did have to call the tech line to help set it up to work the way I wanted, but they were friendly, helpful, and patient! I do recommend the printer wholeheartedly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

New Product Installation

Being an "old-timer" I like to have a "hard copy" of the owners manual. Printer is all installed, but has not been able to print a test page, because there is a warning that the ink charging is not complete. Sounds like a minor problem, but without a manual, I can find no way to rectify the problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this printer when our old printer died. The very first thing we used it for was my niece's wedding invitations.
Wow! Amazing! We matched the purple to the purple design on the invitation the 1st try through and once I figured out how feed the invitations and RSVP cards through the feeder in the back and do the envelopes on the front tray, the end product was amazing!
Love that it is wireless and that we have it set up for all 3 computers in the house to print from - without cables!
Even the detail on coupons printed from the internet on draft quality is fabulous.
Our next project will be photo printing. Can't wait to try it out.

This is the first printer that I have owned with ADF and two sided printing. I use the ADF all the time as far as two sided printing I used it when printing the manual (300+pages). As far as ink consumption I just changed the black(start up) after printing around 400 pages.Do not understand why they call the printer a product in the manual instead of printer. Gets confusing. I have not used the fax as I am having problems sitting it up. Do not know how.

this is my third WF- 2530- 2540 the 2540 didn't last 2 years October 14 to august 16 print perfect test and blank pages nothing else I uninstall reinstall

I read some of the reviews on this printer and how difficult it was to set it up. To tell you the truth it had me a bit scared because I had ordered it prior to reading all the horror stories.
The delivery was quick and I followed the set up instructions to a tee, and it worked
Perfectly. I took a deep breath and asked myself, " what was all the fuss about"?
I've printed at least 3 reams of paper and not a hitch.

Poor print quality

Tried to print on both draft & grayscale - could barely see it. Have to use very best print quality to get best results. This would use a lot of ink fast so you would not really be saving much money for the "lower cost' of their ink. Not sure if I'm going to keep it - I have 2 weeks to take it back.

Dysfunctional at Best

This is, by far, the worst performing printer I've ever owned.
It cannot print a readable page despite re-aligning the heads or cleaning the ink jets. It will not maintain a network connection. This is especially problematic if you scan documents to a memory card and the try to access the card.
It eats ink like nothing I've ever experienced. I purchased a large capacity black ink. It last no more than 100 pages of text.
I've owned Epson printers for 15 years. This one was an absolute dud. Avoid it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
