Set Up for printer

I have had problems getting the printer set up to print. Things are going better now. Hopefully I will be able to print from the computer. I feel the product will be good for my needs. Thanks for your help screens and other guidance in preparing the product for use.

HATE THIS PRINTER

This printer goes off line all the time, I can't print cardstock out of the tray and the print quality isn't very good. I will never buy another Epson again. This is my second one in 6 months I had another Epson that the feeder broke. I really need my printer so I hate that I wasted money and now really have to buy a new one because this one causes too much hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE HAD TO RELOAD MY DRIVERS TWO TIMES AND BOTH TIMES,EVEN THOUGH I WAS AUDIBLY FRUSTRATED BECAUSE OF THE REASON OF THE LOSS OF MY CONNECTIONS, EPSON'S TRAINED REPRESENTATIVES WERE SUCCESSFUL IN RESTORING MY PRINTER!
I NOW HAVE THE FULL USE OF MY PRINTER, SCANNER AND FAX AND I THANK ANNA FOR HAVING THE PATIENCE TO STAY WITH ME UNTIL HER SERVICE WAS COMPLETED. THANK YOU ANNA AND THANK YOU EPSON.
I LOVE THE DOUBLESIDE PRINTING CAPABILITY, THE ABILITY TO CONTROL THE COLOR VS BLACK AND WHITE CAPABILITY, AND LOOK FORWARD TO LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT PRINTING APPLICATIONS I CAN USE!

The Easy to Use Epson

This printer is very easy to use and set up. The manual's directions make it very easy to set up if you are not tech savvy. Very simple to put together. You literally can take it out of the box and start printing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set up of the WF-3620 was straight forward and fairly painless except for the following:
Either the user manual needs to be changed so that user is told that settings need to be changed when switching from cassette to sheet feeder OR sheet feeder should be made to automatically override cassette setting

Linux drivers

I had a wf-3520 and linux drivers worked very well,But the linux drivers for the wf-3620 DO NOT WORK. Epson needs to update the wf-3620 linux drivers.

Slick as a Whistle

I have had this Epson about 2 months, so I haven't used all the features yet. It replaced an Epson Work Force 633 that still works perfectly, but I wanted the larger view screen and the back feed feature on this one.
I have always loved that ink cartridges can be replaced by color as you need them; no waste! And the print quality is excellent -- bright and crisp. This model has a fairly compact footprint and looks nice in my home office. I highly recommend it.
