Poor installation directions

Installing the color cartridges was a little difficult. It's all done in pictures, very small pictures and it's hard to determine what's what. I wasn't sure if all the labels had to come off. You need some words to explain things a little better.
When I put in the CD to install the software, nothing happened. It said waiting...so I waited 10 minutes...nothing. Had to re-install and click on things to or three times before it finally started to install. It needs to be more idiot proof.
I finally got it all working...and it seems like a very nice machine. But I would have some words with your technical writer.

The quality of the printing is very good. I used it to print photos and they were good. But the ink cartridges empty fast and I have used 2 magenta cartridges to 1 of the cyan and black. They yellow one also empties fast.

Very hard to connect to my PC. I have had this for a 1-1/2 days and have yet to get it to connect. It continually sends an error message that I need to get drivers. When I do get drivers, it must not recognized them and repeats the same message over and over. If I can't get it to work in a couple of more days, I will return to the store and purchase a different brand.

Terrible Printer.

Starting having print issues within the first week. Requires print head cleaning at least twice every time I need to print something.
Automatic paper feeder on top has not had a single page through it without jamming.
Scanner utility is basically impossible to use unless requested by the computer.
Bought this as a gift and am extremely disappointed.

After only a few months, I'm getting a line across all my scans and copies. Printing works fine.

Runs through ink cartridges

The selling points for my purchasing the WF-3620 printer were
- copy, print, and scan 2-sided
- prints 1100 pages with extended life cartridges
Well, I have not figured a way to set the defaults on the printer as I have been able to with previous printers. Before, I could go into printer properties on the Control Panel and set properties to what I want (black print only, double sided). Soo, every time I want to print a document I cannot select the 'Quick Print' icon. I must click on the drop down list, select 'print,' select 'properties,' then select black ink only and select 'print on both sides.' VERY ANNOYING and time consuming. AND, it doesn't remember the last setting so this is a continual process.
Also, even when you select 'black/grayscale' it STILL USES UP YOUR COLOR CARTRIDGES. I very seldom print in color and I am constantly having to replace the color cartridges. Even when a color cartridge gets low, the printer will send an alert pop up screen and ask if you want to print in black ink only. First off, I've already set the option for black ink only so you know it is not using just black ink because now you are low on a color. Second, even by selecting yes for black ink only on the pop up screen you eventually use up all the color because after a few prints like this, the printer will not print anymore because you are now OUT OF THAT COLOR CARTRIDGE.
I have never gotten anywhere the 1100 pages it claims to print on an XL cartridge, color or black. I have never gotten anywhere near the 300 pages it claims on a regular cartridge.
Another annoying feature is it makes you choose the type of photo paper to print and refuses to print if it doesn't think you entered the right option.
On a good note, I have only gotten a couple of paper jams. I do use recycled paper often (print on the backside).

THE PRINTER HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT AND OUT OF NO WHERE I GET THIS ERROR CODE AND EPSON DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESEARCH ON THIS ERROR CODE ON HOW TO FIX IT. IF THE LIFE OF THIS ALL IN ONE PRINTER IS 4 MONTHS, ITS NOT WORTH THE BUY.

I was really excited when I bought this printer and it worked great until it ran out of ink. I have replaced the ink cartridges numerous times and the printer still will not print all colors. It will only print in black and white, blue, and green. I am extremely disappointed in this product and I will not be buying an epson printer again.
