This printer has a slight attitude problem

I've had this printer for a few months now and there are pros and cons. The big pro is that it prints great...when it wants to. Hence, the cons. When the black ink cartridge is low it eventually refuses to print (for efficiency, I prefer for print quality to prove when I need to change cartridges; instead, this printer gives a few warnings but then just stops - even though the last page printed was beautiful). It is also finicky about paper. If I choose to print something on plain paper that the printer deems should be on premium paper, again, it refuses to print. Also, I had trouble setting up the wireless feature for this printer and tech support was very little help. I ended up getting a USB cable. But again, when it prints - which in fairness is most of the time - it prints great!

Good, but...

Printer, scanner, and Fax work well, but the built in wireless transmitter is so strong that I had to disable it. The wireless signal overpowered the in-housw wi-fi.

WorkForce WF-3620 Ed

Not a bad printer. However paper handling is a bit cumbersome. Does not have a separate tray for picture paper requiring removal of existing paper and loading picture paper and changing the paper settings. With this printer whenever paper is changed you are required to reset the paper type and size. Finding the correct setting can be an adventure. Quality of printing is good both for black & white documents and color pictures. Scan features are good. For the price an overall good choice.

Printing is believing!

After my old Epson gave in ( unfortunate accident) I decided to go and purchase another one! As I did the research, because i never buy without knowing the scoop on an item, I came across the Epson WF-3620 and i have to say, everything it boasts it delivers!!!
This printer , right out of the box is a champion. While i was setting up my laptop i was already printing from my smartphone. I wont lie i came across a lil problem when trying to get the printer and laptop to sync up on the same wireless network ( my fault lol) but after about 10 min i got them all in line :)
One of the biggest features on this product is the amazing email to print function from pretty much any device and you dont even have to be home. This is an amazing feature for people that oh lets say need to print out tickets for the show but aren't next to a laptop .... all you have to do is email the printer directly with its very own address and your tickets will be waiting in the tray when you walk in the door, leaving you plenty of time to get ready instead of fumbling to make copies in a hurry.
Let it be known however that your printer must be on and on standby to be able to utilize this feature!
everything else on this printer is on point and goes above and beyond for the consumer! this is definitely a strong BUY.

I have owned five previous epson printers over the past 30 years. they were a dream compared to trying to program this product. after five hours , three glasses of wine and two brews. I finally got to the registration phase. I was trying to program two different computers one with xp and a 1 year old hp laptop with windows 8. I could get the test print on network connection to work but not able to get any other printing done. will look at a different brand now

tired of stuf not working when I follow directions
on September 8, 2015

Trying to setup my new wf-3620 all in one printer. I followed the directions exactly. the setup will not get past setting the date. The time is supposed to be the next step, and it should have moved on to that next step by itself, and every button that I push tells me that "this operation is invalid". and, even though I properly installed the ink cartridges, following the directions exactly, I get a message that the cartridges have not charged. It's 9;41 PM, so I'm going to have to wait until morning to be able to reach anyone for help. And, of course, when I go to the FAQs, my particular problem is never there.

spotty connectivity

I just got this new 3620 printer and it really doesn't connect well with my MAC. It works some times but other times it doesn't connect. And I'm using a USB connection, not WiFi. I couldn't get WiFi to work.
