Poor Quality Scanner

scanning of pictures (which I own) has very poor quality, sometimes scanner works ok, sometimes pictures come out saturated and grainy. I was able to scan 1 picture with ok quality. If there is a fix i would like to know.

Installed printer WF-3620

Made it fine but took some time (45 minutes or so, for wi-fi setup). At least it seems to work. Should be more plug and play. Had some problems with a false paper jam error. Looks like you really need to push the paper in the tray all the way up the angled guide at the back. Should not be necessary according to a white little marker, but the error did not clear until I did that.

Haven't been happy since day one because scan properties are not as advertised - won't scan in pdf or mutliple pages in one document. Uses color print just black and white or grayscale which means 1) it costs you more to print because it's using color as well as black ink, and 2) it won't print with just black ink if you're out of a color. Cheesy trick to get you to spend more money on ink. I'm really glad I have 11 days on the warranty period because it just quit printing with cyan, so everything I print in color comes out purple and pink. I've never purchased anything but HP printers before again, and I never will again.

Scanner unusable when low on ink

One would think they could print in black and white when a color ink cartridge runs low. Not with the Epson WorkForce… You can't even scan. My printer was low on red ink…. And I couldn't print in black-and-white nor scan with it. This printer will bug the bageebers out of you even after you select 'ignore' and proceed to using black and white. Notices kept popping up on my computer, I would acknowledge them on the PC and printer. The stupid thing is simply unusable if it's low on ink. So I have to keep the ink stocked even when I know the cartridges will dry out before I will use them.

Difficulty in setting up

I brought this printer for personal use. I've had for 4 days and I still have not been able to get it to printer. I loaded the drivers using the CD that was provided,that didn't work. I went to the Epson site and downloaded the drivers from your site and it still does not work. I just don't get it. I went through the set up on the printer and through the computer and still no print jobs come out. Difficult to set up. It should be plug and play. Not plug and pray!!!!

Unit works spectacular....until today. Then it throws up a message on my Mac. "The product cannot be used right now or it is already in use. Check if the product is ready to be used." Then there is a delay before it spits up another message on screen. It worked fine this morning, now not so much. It sees the network, Mac sees it. Just no communication of some sort. Will keep trying. Maybe mine just had a hiccup, who knows? I like what I've seen until now.

so far I cannot get connected to print from anywhere, follow all directions, which are very poor.
