Epson WF-3640 Printer

Everything works great except for the WIFI. Instructions on setting it up are nonexistent. Where do I find a "Users Guide?" The other printers I have purchased all had a Users Guide!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Totally Satisfied

We needed a wireless printer that we could print from multiple wireless computers and smart phones. After looking at several, the Epson Workforce 3640 features and dual paper trays seemed to offer everything we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the set up, thinking it would be like a network printer. To my surprise, the only slight problem I had was with the touch screen. We were about to re-box the printer and take it back when my husband came by and pushed the screen and viola, it worked!! After that, the remaining set up was very intuitive and easy!!
The printer does everything we need, and we are very happy with it. I recommend it for people that do not want to run cables to everything every time they want to print something!! The only thing that would make the printer better is a little more sensitive touch screen.

Prints great pictures but uses vastly more ink than what they say. I would say their estimate is off around 1000% on the xl type cartridges and if you run out of any one color the machine refuses to print, fax, etc in black and white so becomes basically useless (on the windows 7 platform anyways). Also does not seem to be compatible with an answering machine on the same line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ink Depleted fast

I print out maybe just 10 modest to small color prints at lowest to medium quality and you can see the ink levels drained significant in the status indicator. How is precision core better than color laser or even regular inkjet, which is what it really, is at being economical?

Epson 3640

Easy to set up, including a wireless connection. Still getting used to printer features. Still trying to efficiently print envelopes without removing paper from Tray 1. I suppose I should be using side feed. Scanning is working well. Overall, it's working fine for our home use.

This printer is fast, has very good print quality and is easy to use. The ability to print double- sided copies as well as legal size documents is another plus. So far I am very pleased with its performance.

Fine unit at a great price

This unit has been in use for just over a month. All of it's features have yet to be tested. So far, Scanning, Printing, copying with sheet feeder have been used with excellent results. Wireless setup was a snap and every computer on the network can access it. Also I'm able to print from my cell phone using the "Hammermill" app. While I prefer methods other than FAX to send and receive documents, I will setup and check this feature out too in the near future. All-in-all, this has been a great purchase at a great price. If you can get your hands on a WF-3640, you wont be disappointed.
