The first machine would not boot up. Epson sent a replacement which I have up and running. The instructions could be a little clearer for the initial start up, but things got easier as I connected my windows 10 laptop and my Ipads seemed to connect themselves. I just downloaded drivers to hopefully email scanned docs to various sites. The few copies that I made are good quality and quicker than my old machine. I think if that if faced with the defective problem again, I would return it to the store directly. The switch out process with Epson was a bit cumbersome and will not be complete until they acknowledge receipt of the defective unit and release the fee currently against my credit card. All in all, I think the unit is going to surprise me with its versatility and I am looking forward to exploring its capabilities.

Better than I thought it would be

Our old printer just quit...after only two and a half years of LIGHT use, it just up and died. Initial thoughts were to replace it with the same type and keep rolling, but after much review reading and feature comparing, we settled on the Epson Work Force WF-3640. It was a BREEZE to set up and get the computers all talking to it, We run a half wired, half wireless network here and IT ALL WORKS!!! We can print from ANYWHERE! and the print quality is SUPERB!!! I ABSOLUTELY recommend this printer to anyone looking for a GREAT BUY for an all in one unit! Easy to set up, it copies, faxes, and prints with ease. And with on screen (love the touch screen!) menus that MAKE SENSE, you won't ever get lost! Good Job Epson! You guys did your homework and got it RIGHT!

I have only had this printer for about six months and I am very pleased with it. I am not a power user and it has features that I will most likely never use but I'm glad they are there anyway. (Going from my last printer to this one was like I went from a balky old SUV to a Tesla.)

Great Printer System

This is my first Epson Printer I have had 5 other brands over the years and this is the second one that I have Not had to call for Support when setting it up. The only function I have found that I am not real pleased about ,is the fact you have to tip the Cover all the way back to place something on the scanning surface witch in turn pops the back access cover open. Other than that the Print Quality is the best I have had in any of my previous three in one printers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my Epson WF-3640. I was initially looking for a laser printer but a floor salesman talked to me about Epson's beyond laser printers. I have never regretted getting the WF-3640. My only complaint is that while the black cartridge lasts a very long time this is not necessarily the case with the colored cartridges. Could Epson work to make them last at least a little longer?

Many, problems using with a Mac like most printers

This is my third new Epson WorkForce-3640 that is not working with any of my three Macs at home. I have worked for many hours and it will just not print. Mt last two failed within days of each other. All three have new ink cartridges installed and I have re-downloaded the Mac drivers and I am using another brand new cable. The ink is a total ripe-off price, BTW. Still nothing prints. They will copy but they will not print, these printer totally suck, please beware if you own a Mac. I have piled up all three printers now and I am look for a match or a high window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

VERY NICE UPGRADE

We had an old fax for many years until now we upgraded for this beautiful printer which include a very easy way to fax, scan and print. The only reason I didn't give a five stars review is because there is something wrong with this because there is no way for me to fix the double sided copy. I fix it to off the double sided copy but always go back to that setting. It is very annoying to fix the settings every time I do copies.
