I printed 75 pages of a children's story with no problems and sent it to a publisher.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. What a piece of junk. Extremely slow printing and scanning, constant error messages when trying to scan from desktop. Wifi capability is spotty and unreliable. Will not connect via USB. Will not print envelopes. Setup instructions are worthless. I'm taking it back tomorrow. I wish I could get back the 5 hours that I wasted on this today. Unfortunately for Epson, I now assume that this is representative of the quality to be expected from all their products. I will not buy another, guaranteed.

I have an Epson Workforce 3640 and somehow it got uninstalled. Your instructions on the website are outstanding! They are written in a clear and easily accessible style and allowed me to reinstall all drivers and set up the wireless network easily.

Epson Tech Support EXCELLENCE

Note: this review is for Epson Tech support which has been excellent each time I've asked them for assistance re product information and manipulation of installation or trouble-shooting.
Today John helped me get my WF-3640 wirelessly connected to primary computer and smart phone. He asked what I needed and then proceeded to make sure all was accomplished correctly and smoothly. There was no pressure to rush, rather John communicated that he was present to help me complete the task I was requesting. Even suggested emailing drivers etc to insure latest would be installed asap.
John's skilled patience, attention to detail, knowledge & expertise = stellar. It was a breeze and my machines sync now. Thanks!

Best Printer Ever Owned

I recently purchased the WorkForce3640 for my home use and found it so much more than just a printer.
The replacement Ink cartridges are a bit costly but when you see the "laser-like" printing this unit produces, even that doesn't matter.
I have had several brands of printers over the years but I'll tell you, for the dollar, this is the best one I have ever owned.
It faxes, copies, scans and even has an economy mode to save you money on the actual printing. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for a great value!

my old Epson printer seemed to be easier to use than the new one for example sending and receiving faxes with an anserwring machine does not seem to work as well

Excellent Epson Quality As Per Usual

The WF-3640 replaces the Epson Artisan 50 I had for years. It was a workhorse!
I hadn't used it in some time and the ink dried up irreparably clogging the ink lines. (I was later told to store the ink cartridges in a ZipLoc bag to prevent the ink from drying up.)
I researched Epson's extensive printer line and the WF-3640 stellar reviews convinced me to buy it.
Wow! Even a technological twit like me was able to set it up!
If this printer is anything like the Artisan 50 in durability and performance, it will outlast my planetary existence.
I've already chosen #1 Grandson to inherit it!
I would recommend this to a friend!
