5 stars are not enough my EPSON Workforce WF-3640 is great. I don't remember when I bought it maybe close to a year give or take a month. I have had no problems. The hook up was easy. Putting in the ink was tricky because I had never owned one before. But they have videos on Youtube. And if the cd it comes with burns out or breaks whatever just go to the website and download drives there. Get the best USB cord to hook up to your computer I mean it. I have not seen any other printer that is this nice looking and the price forget about it. If you have a small corp like we do it really helps.

I am a firm believer and user of Epson printers.
I was afraid, however, yesterday, that the model I have, wf3640, which is 3 yrs old was finally giving out on me when the black ink quit printing despite cleaning the print heads and replacing the black ink cartridge 3 times. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased when I called the help # and was referred to customer service agent and given the option for a completely new printer, for no cost, of the same design. I jumped at the option! I hate trying to figure out the instructions of a brand new printer when the old one suits me fine.

Did not achieve wireless setup; needed cable. Why minimum characters; didn't need them!!!

WF-3640 stopped working

I enjoyed the remote printing capabilities of this machine for several months, and then one day it was over.
I have followed all the directions at Epson-dot-com. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled the software more times than is sane. It is a mystery why a printer sitting on the same desk in the same room with the same WiFi would work one day and not the next, but that is exactly what happened.
I would never recommend this printer to anyone. Ever.

Problems with the ink clogging up and its barely been used. Makes me think of changing brands if this is a continuing problem.

My Lexmark printer died after 8 years of loyal service. I purchased the WF-3640 and was floored by the advance in technology. It was a quantum leap in information handling and flexibility and at a very affordable price. (I would have paid twice the price)
All of electronic equipment should be as good
