Hilarious machine I love it

If you want something affordable and good this is the monster machine you should buy. Don't thing twice on getting WF-3640 you won't regret it. I promise you that.

works great for 2 years

I am a first grade teacher so having a printer in my classroom and at home is very handy. The printer quality was awesome in color and black and white. I liked that this machine could print high quantities front and back quickly. I was very pleased with my purchase until now. The prints comes out streaky, and entire lines or sections or now missing. I run a nozzle check and cleaning , but that doesn't help. If that problem were fixed this would be a 5 star review. I'm not sure if I over used this printer or if this is just the life expectancy of this machine. Overall a great printer for short term use 1-2 years not long term use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Windows 10 scan issues

This printer/scanner has worked fine until we updated to windows 10.
Now we are having all sorts of problems which we cant seem to get around!

In general I like this all in one. It's a good size for a small office and I really like that there are two trays. However, I have had two of these machines, and the document feeder lasts for only a short time. I really wish Epson would fix that feature.

Great Printer for home use

I have owned this Epson WF3640 printer for about 10 months. I currently use a USB connection to my desktop (Windows 7) machine but look forward to using it with WiFi to a laptop I just acquired.
We use it to print, copy and FAX (outbound) daily without any problems - other than ink cartridge size. I have opted to use XL-sized cartridges exclusively so that I don't have to change them more than once-a-week.
Only Complaints:
1) Outbound FAX status report is not printed (only on screen)
2) Install software is not on Epson website. Even though installation disk (which I misplaced) is downloaded during installation -- you can't start without the disk.
Overall: this is a great machine. I just wish I had bought it sooner.

Does not live up to the reviews

The print quality is terrible. We just set this up and have printed a number of items to test the print quality and it has been poor for every item. I thoroughly disappointed. Unfortunately, we purchased this as a display item that was still tagged and taped, but apparently not up to par.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
