I bought this printer a year ago, and it was not printing properly, I did all troubleshooting told by tech people, then they sent me replacement printer and now after 6 month it has same thing. I am using this printer for my home and I don't print much often, may be 500 pages a year. So for me Epson WF-3640 was just bad experience and thinking buy other brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WF 3640 Wireless Printer- Great Bang For The Buck

I have been using an Epson Workforce 500 for years with no problems, but due to a recent paper feed problem, I decided to purchase a newer Epson Workforce model 3640 printer and so far I have not been disappointed. It was easy to setup, has 2 paper feed trays, is wireless and prints much faster and on both sides of the paper. The resolution on color prints is excellent. So far, I am completely satisfied and hope that this printer will be as reliable as my previous WF 500.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast and easy setup!

Device set up quickly and easily to Mac computer. No problems, everything straight forward. Prints fast and output so far looks good. Hope long-term it works as well!

Good Printer - One Issue

Overall a good all purpose printer. However, after one month of use, the small black ink cartridge ran out of ink. I replaced it with the larger 3X cartridge, and within a few days, lost the black printing function. I first tried to clean the black nozzle, but it did not help. After reading about this problem in some blogs, I did clean the black cartridge nozzle about 4 times, and the problem went away. So everything is back to normal; I understand the print nozzle is smaller, which causes more frequent clogs, but I have no other explanation that makes sense.

I would have givin 5 stars but I just got it hooked up . the instructions where ok but could be better they don't show how everything works . set up was quick but they should include the Ethernet cable and a phone cable

Print quality stinks

The print quality of this printer stinks! Copies and faxes that come through are very grainy and hard to read. Also, the printer magically disconnects from our network without any notice...yesterday the printer worked fine and today I'm being told the printer is turned off when it's clearly turned on.

The most bang for your buck. The printer does everything I need done for my business and personal needs. Additionally, I have moved, changed home networks and had several computer problems....all of which this printer overcame and continued to print via hatever network configuration it was confronted with.
