This printer is horrible. I had this exact model and it stopped printing the color red after a month. It didn't matter what I did I couldn't fix it. I tossed it out and stupidly bought the same model again. I have had it for 3 weeks and now it won't print the colors at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this all in one because of the so called precision ink. Ha, I printed 14 pages of black and couldn't continue until I replaced the ink. This is a brand new printer! 14 pages come on. I couldn't even fax without replacing a new black cartridge. This will be brought back to the place of purchase. Epson rethink the possibilities of fax or scan capabilities if out of ink. Then maybe I'll come back.

Workforce 3640 and Workforce 4640

Typically a big fan of Epson products but both the Workforce 3640 and the Workforce 4640 that I have purchased within the last year degraded in print quality fairly quickly. I use them for both personal and business use, which was not included as a use option for this survey) Even with brand new ink cartilages installed as the ink gets low (very quickly by the way) and even after doing routine nozzle and print registration checks there is patterned overspray all over my documents making them unusuitable for distribution to anyone. This result seems uncharacteristic for Epson products bas d upon past experience and has been quite disappointing. I don't what has changed at Epson but this is not a good example of product progress or evolution. I wish I could give them a higher rating but simply cannot.

Constant Print Failures

I like the printer in general but it constantly fails on print jobs for mysterious reasons. I'll attempt to print and nothing happens. Looking at my print queue, it states printer error or something to that effect. I turn the printer off and back on and the it will print fine. Drives me crazy.
I do a lot of printing and I print wirelessly. I assume that may have something to do with it, but it shouldn't.

The basic functions of the printer work well, when the software is working. I have had to uninstall the software twice and do a full reinstall in order to get the printer working. The error that I get is that there is no driver available. If this continues to happen, then I will have to think about returning the printer and getting something else.

Slow, Slow, Slow!!

When I want to print a document or really anything, it takes at least 1 minute or more to start printing! I've never had a printer that is this slow. It's very irritating. Just wondering if there is a fix for this??
