I've used the printer several times now. it scans and prints very well, picture option is nice. The two sided printing is awesome! Over all I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

works great with my iPhone App and i have already spread the word. I bought it because i am a member of Consumer Reports Online and they gave the WF 3640 a high rating. It has the features I really want.

Set-up and pictures

Set up for WIFI was very easy using my MAC and the printer. was up in running in just a few minutes. I am having some difficulty with the 2 trays but I am sure i will get that figure out. The printer also hooked up to my IPHONE on the EPSON app. BUT biggest complaint is quality of pictures. I also have a 725 and i get much sharper pictures when using the 725 vs the 3640.

I bought this Epson 1 day ago. I have been working for about 6 hrs. and I still don't have it working. I am no computer genius but I have
installed several printers over the years and they have all been relatively simple. I have work I desperately need to complete and I am wasting my time with this machine. I HATE IT!

Work Force 3640

The printer functions fine and easy enough to use. I like the double paper holders. I like the speed. What a don't like is the noise. Very noisy. The quality of the printing is only acceptable but not great. Also I am highly disappointed that Epson does not include a users manual. They save on printing but inconvenience its customers by having to download the manual. I think they should include it with the printer. I like hard copies. Spend the money and be customer friendly.

EPSON IS KNOWN TO MAKE A VERY GOOD PRINTER. BUT, THE WF-3640 IS NOT ONE OF THEM! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. YOU HAD BETTER HAVE A MASTER'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING. YOU'LL NEED IT TO GET YOUR COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE THE PRINTER AND IF YOU HAVE WIFI .... WELL, GOOD LUCK. BUT ALL OF THAT IS MINOR. WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE PRINTER CARTRIDGE! ARE YOU IN FOR AN ADVENTURE! JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU ARE FOLLOWING ALL THE DIRECTIONS ...IT WON'T WORK! THIS WILL TEST YOUR PATIENCE. PRICE WISE IT'S OK BUT THE INK CARTRIDGES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. ON THE PLUS SIDE, IT WILL HOLD A FULL REAM (500 SHEETS) IN THE TWO PAPER TRAYS. WHEN WORKING IT DOES PRINT QUICKLY AND SO FAR IT HAS NOT ZINGED ME WITH ANY BLANK PAGES.

For an 80 year young senior I found the machine a challenge to learn how to operate, however as time continues I find the machine an excellent investment. Thank you Jack :Jones
