Just purchased a day ago....so far a nice improvement from my older Epson All-in-one. Quiet, fast, easy to set up. I just hope the docement feeder works well as that is my primary complaint from my older Epson.

I just finished hooking up the WF-3640 and got it set to print. I prints really well and is fast enough for my use. I really like the photo printing feature
It is easy to set up and gives a nice picture. I would recommend this product to a friend

Epson WF-3640

I just hooked up, so I have not had a chance to really work with it yet. Trying to set up wireless printing, asking assistance from a friend who knows about computers. But when I did a test print, was impressed how fast it prints. Ink is a little light, but that is due to the original cartridges supplied. Anxious to start using for making cards, charts, labels, etc.

What a great product this printer is, I am still learning how to use all of the wonderful things it can do.
I find it very easy to operate and today printed from my camera all my photos from this past summer, such an easy application to use. I have used the document printer and with two clicks had some very professional looking copies of dialogue with photos. Looking forward to a very long history with this printer, scanner and fax machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible Machine

SETUP:
Setup out of the box was somewhat complicated and unintuitive. When I installed the driver on my Mac, there were a number of problems with the installer. Repeated Mac popups called out errors in the driver and certain features would be unavailable due to manufacturer software. I had downloaded the most up to date driver from the Epson product page, so Epson is clearly the issue here.
PRINTING:
Printing a basic page is also complicated. Due to the printer having three options for paper feed, you have to make sure you print to the right tray. There was no way to setup a default tray and the printer driver would never remember the previous tray. Probably an issue with the driver (see above!). The wireless settings printed fine and if you're printing on nothing but 8.5x11 plain paper, then great! When my wife and I tried various envelope sizes and paper sizes/weights, the printer would bleed ink all over whatever we were printing. Also, the rear feed tray has extremely low paper capacity and the guides are so small that the printer cannot keep paper straight as it feeds from the rear tray. Everything prints crooked, especially envelopes. It's almost comical how poorly this printer was designed.
OTHER:
It's extremely loud. My neighbors could hear me printing.
The touch screen had a few bad pixels, new out of the box!
The ink cartridges don't really click into place. The tabs on the cartridges don't put enough pressure on the printer head to hold them in place. Probably causing the ink bleeding issues.
Any custom paper sizes throws this thing into mass confusion and you have to tell it to print to the custom size on that actual printer touch screen. It's one of those, "Are you sure you want to do that" kinda things that just adds an unnecessary step in the user experience.
Finally, I had this printer out of the box for all of two hours before I packed it back up and am on my way to return to the store. Don't waste your money or time. I've always had good luck with Epson but this thing is a black sheep. Poor design, poor experience, poor product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A real job to get set up, directions that came in box were almost useless, online was not much better. Still having trouble with the 'wireless' printing.
After getting set up color quality and speed are very good. Love the 2-sided printing option.
