Good Start

I don't understand those reviews of the WF-3620/3640 that complain about complicated installation. This was one of the best install experiences that I have ever had. So far (on the first day) I could not be happier with my choice in the Epson printer or with the beautiful print results. A great product and I am pleased with myself for being such a smart old man (73!) and making such an intelligent choice!

Not happy with Epson Workforce WF-3640

First time ever having a Epson printer. Bought it because it does 2-sided printing and had two drawers. Runs out of black ink too fast. Then you get option to print using the other colors, which uses up the color cartridges much faster. Ink cartridges are way too expensive. Must buy 4 separate cartridges(black, 3 colors). One drawer I use card stock and other regular paper. Some times it takes paper from wrong drawer even though I selected drawer 1. Color copies print very slowly. I could go on and on. No need.

I want my money back!

The printer has to have the software reloaded regularly to operate. One black cartridge lasted less than 200 sheets. Too expensive to operate and too slow to start up. I made a mistake in purchasing this one. I'm tired of it and I really want a refund.

Second Epson Work Force Printer I've Purchased

I found myself working at home and needed another printer. I was already using an Epson WorkForce Printer but it was too large for my available space. This one fits in nicely. Great support. Easy set up. Great printing. The scanning is a little slower and I wish the back feed for envelopes took more than one envelope at a time - but if I want to print a large number, I can do it from the print tray. This one has two trays, the larger faster WorkForce printer only has one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mac Users - Epson WF-3640

Unless someone can convince me otherwise, this machine is not for Mac users. Multiple issues with just trying to scan a document. Not sure if i'll put up with this much longer.

Great Printer

I run a small preschool and needed a small office printer that could handle all my printing, scanning and faxing needs. This printer fits the bill. Easy to set up and has worked great. My only complaint is that it seems to use ink quicker than I anticipated. My old printer used toner and it lasted much longer. Over time this could make this printer cost prohibitive for us.

My Set-up

The initial set-up was easy to understand and straight forward. It did take awhile to set-up due to installing drivers for multiple computers, both work and home use. It was great to be able to download driver software for different platforms, Mac & PC. Since, just purchased, I will wait to see if all goes well. I chose this printer for ease of transport to and from various work sites. Light weight and mobile, cost efficient, good quality output versus higher cost & weight of laser printers. Better print speed, larger paper capacity, sharper image.
