We are still getting used to it. Probably need to put it on an APS back-up because our power has brown-outs/lots of flickers that even though the machine stays on/comes back on, it doesn't always reconnect to the wi-fi automactically. It's a little slow to start printing but does a good job once it gets going. We print from many different devices and it works well.
Can print from the Network OR pick it directly from your wi-fi search. Have not been able to verify ink use yet. Scanning is really great! printing and copying are good. Plus I got a heck of a deal, on sale AND a coupon!

Worst instructions and setup hassle ever

If you have windows 10, and are not a computer genius, you will never get this printer working. It says no internet signal when my Laptop and phone both have strong WIFI signals. I have spent all day trying to load drivers and firmware and the printer sits useless. Wish I had bought another brand. The instructions are useless. The most frustrating setup I have ever experienced. It would seem they would update their installation CD for Windows 10.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love it.The Epson 3640 has it all prints photos excellent.has a scanner and copy .Prints from my smart phone with Epson air print app. I would recommend it to all. Very easy to set up.all in all I am very happy to have it. price is great also

The Best Printer I Have Owned!

I purchased this printer simply because my previous Epson Printer was several years old and I needed more capacity due to positions I hold in various organizations.
I was fortunate in that this printer was on sale at a great price and it cost the same as a smaller Epson Printer that was one up from the one I was replacing.
There is an automatic feeder which can scan two sided documents - AWESOME!
The automatic two sided copier device is stellar!
And this printer has the ability to take a larger capacity black ink cartridge AND I continue to love the fact that the inks are in separate cartridges. The ink also lasts longer than any HP printer I owned - though it has been many many years since I've owned an HP.
You will love, love, this printer. It is large enough for a small home business as well!!
I highly recommend!

It is a great printer but when you go to purchase the inker replacements, you might want to take out a loan. They are expensive and with you don't get the XL's, I have to replace my monthly.

Worst Install instructions I've ever encountered

So far I've spent over 6 hours trying to get this WF 3604 to work. It continues to indicate it's not registered. I've registered it over 10 times! The registration NEVER get me an email fofr the printer and NEVER lets me set an account username and PASSWORD!! This is not woth spending a single penny on!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really want to like this printer..but..

The ink must last longer because it doesn't go on the paper. The blacks are more like grey. I even tried setting to HI-Quality in MS-Word print and documents are better but still seem a bit washed out.
I'd recommend to a friend but show them the output.

I am 94 years old. This printer was installed for me by my son who is very knowledgeable about computer, printers and networks. He said Epson is the best company for home and small business inkjet printers. He went with me to buy a printer and set up everything - fax, copy, scan & printer on my network very quickly and checked everything out before leaving and showed me how to use everything. So far I am very, very happy to have this all-in-one printer. The quality of the prints and ease of use terrific.
I would recommend this to a friend!
