I still can't hook it up to my wireless system/computer. I don't know what a SSID is.
You should realize that not everyone is a 30 something with knowledge of computer lingo. I'm a senior and will have to hire someone to come help me. It's heavy and I have to move it to even find the serial number.

Seems like it will be a good 4 in 1.Will know more in 2 to 3 months. It will get a work out! The price was very exceptional, given this economy.
Thanks,
Rick Minor

Replacement Printer
on August 11, 2014

Bought the printer to update the home network printer. Replaced an Epson Artisan 800 (which is going to my daughter). Installation was a breeze. I had it up and running within 30 minutes after getting it out of the box. Still exploring all its features. Will have to see how the color use goes. Like the paper handling and the use of 2 cassettes.

I wanted a printer that would be as "serious" all-in-one and provide all the functionality that I require for high quality home and business use. I don't foresee buying another printer until this one no longer functions. Thanks Epson, great product!

Epson WF3640 AIO Printer

Setup fairly simple and efficient. Test page was quickly printed. Disappointed that printer did not come with a USB cable to connect to my PC. I only hope that the usage of this printer live up to my initial evaluation in terms of performance and efficiency. I purchased this printer because the Brother printer I was using was costing me big bucks in cartridge cost and it was very slow printing black&white and color documents.

ADF doesn't work properly and cloud won't connect

Hello,
I am on my 2nd WF-3640. the first one took me about a 90 minutes to get all our computers setup and figure out how to get emails on the cloud to scan too (the most important part for me).
But then when I was scanning - the Scan ADF would only take one page and on the 2nd one it would "jam".....and then the first page would not work. So I had an 8 page document that took me 50 minutes to scan and in the end I put them face down on the glass and made 8 different documents. not very efficient.
So I took it back to Best Buy yesterday and they were great, allowed me to switch it out. NOw I have spent 3 hours setting it up and cannot get the cloud (Epson Connect) to register the our email addresses.....so I can't even get to the place where I can scan......My App shows it and I have now registered it 3 times on the new printer.....but it still does not work. What am I doing wrong?
regards,
Scott Walker

This the most difficult printer I have ever had that took so much time to setup for direct connect. Still trying to complete the process.
