Very easy installation and excellent color & print. Also a lot quitter than other units. Controls are user friendly. Outstanding unit.

Could Greatly Be Improved - Haunted

First set-up would not 'test print." Extreme waste of efforts. Sucks up ink cartridges. Printer settings must be separately made to coordinate with computer each time paper size is changed. Noisy. When idle, frequently emits a grit-grind noise as if haunted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

easy set up

Connection to wireless network was easy, disappointed by lack of wireless connection for scanner like my last printer had. Two sided printing is easy as it can be. quality and speed are good. Photo printing is disappointing especially in view of the Epson reputation for photo prints and it lacks controls for color printing that I had come to expect from Epson.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the 3640 and upon setup I was unabke to complete the setup.the ink that came with the printer was unrecognizable which gave me printer errors. I also purchased a new combo set of ink the did the exact same thing. now i have to wait until tomorrow to get support. I have loved epson product for years. I hope I dont have to return it.

I purchased a WF3640 when I bought a new computer. When it was shipped I could not get the computer to recognize the printer as loaded. Finding customer service number for Epson support was difficult. Printer was replaced. Two months later here we go again. Windows isn't recognizing the printer. Printer will not load from the CD. I can not print anything it says no printer installed.
I most certainly liked my CX9400 fax better. This never happened.

Good buy for printer.

When I owned a business we used Epson printers throughout and had good results. We found WF-3640 printer somewhat difficult to install in the wireless mode. Finally was able to install as a wireless unit and have experienced good results in print quality for documents but have yet to try photo printing.
