I have only had this product a very short time and can not in good faith rate fairly. I gave 4 stars based on the name EBSON and the appearance of a solid build.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First, instore rep had no idea if it would work with public Wi-Fi hotspot, it doesn't. Second, software never fully loads,it gets near finished and just languishes there for hours until you cancel and reload the software. Third, repeat second problem with updates. Fourth fax dials like a 10 year old with developmental problems, never quite gets it the first time. Fifth, evidently none of my printer ports are correct or proper or legal. go figure? I was warned about buying an Epson. My fault I guess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Set up was horrible

I just installed this printer, and upon trying airprint it refused to print anymore, telling me there was a nonexistent "paper jam."
After an hour on the phone with two different customer service reps, there was one incorrect setting that had to be accessed via safari on my iPhone. I had not changed that setting, nor was there any instruction in the airprint setup instructions with the printer telling me to do so.
Not the way I was planning to spend an hour.....
Hope it performs well now. Not a good first 2 hours with it, however.

I bought this product and I'm still not able to connect to WIFI or to use the product for which I purchased it for. I wouldn't rec. until it is in a functioning state.
